0. Planning Invasion

The 109th battalion commanders look over the upcoming operation through the hologram, most of them know that the 1000 personnel they have will do anything the commanders order them, like faithful dogs on a leash.

"This is like a suicide mission, they want us on the literal tip of the attack." Ivar questions their position in the battle as they're going to be the replaceable spearheads of the fight.

Alois sighs, "I did ask them for a change of position but they said they want to keep their best spearhead battalions for the final defence of the empire on that planet." he's the commanding officer of the battalion.

"If they're keeping their best for last, I'm expecting their best meatbags to be dead when the native species come out and kill them at the stationed bases" Ivar gave out a sinister grin thinking about that possibility, the other commanders didn't mind.

They were also thinking the same thing, after all they're better off not going there if they want to so much and let the other battalion's unorganized when the tip of the spear isn't present.

"...."

"...."

"I guess we all thought the same thing.." Alois smiles when noticing..

"AWOL" They all said when they suddenly agreed that they thought the same thing and laughed about it the second they were in sync. The 109 never trusted their superiors.

Orpheus snatches a water bottle from Alois, "I guess the second we arrive at the planet, we're going on an adventure?" drinking the water before giving it back to him, Orpheus lights a cigarette and heads back to his seat.

Still laughing, Alois answers. "Maybe, let's see the situation first." before holding the bottle and throwing it at Orpheus, he was not ready for that and striked his head.
