His phone buzzed but he didn't care, why? He is drawn into the three boxes.

He instinctively gaze at it. He then opened it-

He surveyed his surroundings, the wall, it is glowing with color of yellow, means Attention Required. While others color are red, Yi Seol-ah's color in particular is Vermilion, he smirk at them.

His eyes gleam for a short second.

"What is it? Is there a problem?" Han asked curiously.

"Nothing."

"?"

He then proceed to open his other boxes.

'Hoh~ I didn't get the 'paper talisman' but this is enough.'

Then a man asked, his voice is loud enough to attract all attention.

"You are not giving us anything?"

Han tilted his head.

"You know, those bags like those people just got."

Chuckles.

He chuckled at his naivety, and his reply were filled with cynicism.

"Yes, you don't get anything."

"But they have! Why not us!?"

"Those items are bonus only for the invited. While you are not."

It was direct and simple, easy to understand. But the isn't still satisfied and ask again. "Why is there a difference?"

He smiled at her. "Simple. These guests have been invited here after going a thorough and strict evaluation." He pointed at his right - the left side of the hall. Then he moved his finger to point at them. Just like in the original where they bicker about unfairness.

Then a man chimed in, the crowd saw that there were more people joining, they also join the fray.

Looks like Han is getting irritated, so he simply pointed his index finger at door. "You can simply leave."

So the random man started arguing again, to get more voices, even if the random man urged the crowd to leave with him, only a small number did so.

The random man muttered a few words and angrily stomp his way to the exit, the maid was already there, waiting. She opened the door, while before the man exit, he spit on the flower.

After he exit, Han asked loudly again. "Is there anyone else who wishes to leave?"

No one else move, so the maid carefully closed and locked the door.

While, Han stared at the door, finding it amusing. The silence continued for a while, the crowd alternate there glance at the door and Han.

A couple of minutes pass just like that...

They all could hear hurried and panicked running steps approaching the door. And then...

The door handle was yanked desperately from the outside.

"Open the door!! Open the door!!"

Then, there was heavy pounding on the door...

He screamed, begging to open the door, to save himself from the jaws of death.

The noises suddenly stop, both the random man scream, the pounding on the door...

Han smiled brightly. "Well, I knew that would happen, anyway, let's get started, shall we? We don't have much time." He proceed to tap an icon on his smartphone.

Han placed his right hand on his chest and politely bowed. "Everyone, I wish you all, a good fortune."

After saying that, he and the maid vanished into thin air. Just like their appearance before.

People began to panicked, the guide and the maid suddenly vanished.

They stand up in haste. But before they could discuss what is happening.

A pounding came from the door, just, it is more loud and heavier than before. Silencing them, before they can even start.

A deafening silence reverberate in the hall.

While Seol, pull out his knife, playing it a few times in his hand. Sling the yellow bag in shoulder and glance at Yi Seol-ah.

'draconic eyes, Nine eyes'

Yi Seol-ah's color... Vermilion color, just, it is more darker, close to crimson color.

The pounding of the door resound again.

Khang! Khang!

It is close to breaking, the crowd sense that something is terrifying that wants to enter this hall, they rushed at it, blocking the door with the chairs, Yi Seol-ah was the first to move and followed by the crowd.

Yi Seol-ah squatted down, gasping for breath. The sight of a young frail girl fighting desperately, looked pitiful to them and at the same time shameful for them.

A random man offered his handkerchief, "Here, if it weren't for your quick movements, the door might've break."

The people who help nods their head in agreement.

"N-no, it wasn't like that..." She didn't know how to respond, she just lowered her head shyly.

"Heh, i froze up from fear, but you are brave, seeing your movement, i realized I'm already moving."

"Everyone did their best to help. I wouldn't be able to block the doorway by myself."

Her embarrassed appearance ease a little the tense atmosphere. Even though she is an invited, she is the first to move, so it earn some favourable opinion from them.

Jihu was too bored to watch this happening so he decided to spice some things up. He glanced at his smart phone.

"You block the doorway... So how will we get out from here?"

They all looked at him with wide eyes. The crowd is in disbelief and they gasp when they realise. They cast their glance at Yi Seol-ah then shifted they're gazes on the inviteds, with hopeful eyes.

The goal is to escape this hall and go to the second floor.

"Isn't good to stay here? If you go outside you might die!" A random man shouted.

"But the goal is to escape here and ascend to second floor."

"Do you want to die then?"

The argument heated up, two groups were created, one that wanted to stay here and two that want to explore outside.

Jihu just sat there playing his knife. While the inviteds are finding and moving if there is a alternative exit.

'i can just blast my way out here, using magic isn't that hard right now because I have a lot of mana than before. But I need to stay here...'

The heated argument is still ongoing, Kang Seok refused their help, saying they are baggage, a dead weight. This infuriates the woman, as she is about to slap Kang Seok, a young girl intervene. It was none other than Yi Seol-ah.

"We were in the middle of the crisis, it's difficult enough when we were working together, and yet you're fighting like this?"

"Working together my ass." He then continued in a high voice. "We came here together, we have a plan on our own. Hey, you're an invited right? Why don't you and your brother join me? I'll take you under my wings. Hm?"

"How about them?!"

"You should've realized now right? You'll be helpful to me, while they are not."

Her facial expression showed how disappointed she was. "I thought you are a good person, too."

Kang Seok shrugged his shoulders. He glanced at the nonchalant Jihu, right now he hasn't move from that spot before.

If he tried his luck at this special guest, he might really die, so he didn't push his luck any further.

Yi Seol-ah turned her gaze at Jihu. "Please, help us!"

Jihu raise an eyebrow at this naive and frail girl. A siblings that only want to heal their step-mother. Pitiful, but also commendable. He opened his nine eyes.

She is glowing with Crimson color with a tinge of black. Kang Seok is flashing with color yellow and the rest of the inviteds are color green.

While the floor is.. red like blood.

'it is time.'

The floor rumbles, the people inside the hall had to grab anything that is stable to not fall or slip.

"What is happening?!"

"Earthquake?"

That line of thought pass through their mind. And in the blink of an eye.

The floor exploded like a damn bomb went off. A rotten arm shot out in the gaps of flying bits of wood, with six-hook like things in it. It drew an arc heading towards frozen Yi Seol-ah.

But before it reached her, a sharp knife repel the rotten arm.

It is Jihu, he strengthen the blade by imbuing mana to it.

The rotten arm targeted another, it grabbed a woman, Shin Sang-ah. The one who argue with Kang Seok. It grabbed her by the head, then slam her head on the floor.

Her scream is muffled but nonetheless it is heard by everyone. "Heellpp!!" Her cry woke them up, they pulled and tried to yanked her legs, shoes and socks flew away.

Amidst the chaos, someone managed to grab her legs and pull it. A tug of war unfolded, instead of a rope, a human was substitute.

"Pull them up!"

"Don't let go!!"

"1,2,3. Pull!!"

The chaos resume, even ten some men can't pull her up, they were being rocked up from side to side through force pulling her from the below. Causing them to stumble.

"Urghh. DON'T LET GO!"

It was then, her inhuman scream resound louder than before. Her legs and her upper body was separated, the sharp wooden floor, like a saw that separated her body apart.

Her blood splash at them like a fountain.

They stood there, frozen from sheer terror.

Her legs her laying on the floor while her body might've been eaten.

Jihu can reach that area easily, but didn't do so. Because there is no merit in saving her, she'll just suck up to him like a leech, so why not eliminate the leech indirectly?

Plus, he can also save his strength.

The chaos ensued again, they run for their lives. It is pandemonium, the monster reveal itself, large head, single eye that covered half of it's face, and then there is this chunks of flesh from Shin Sang-ah

'draconic eyes'

Jihu opened his draconic eyes and the hideous monster flinch. It immediately ran away. Once it saw those eyes, it knew who is the prey and who is the predator.

After it ran away, the Yi siblings came up to me.

"Hyung-nim thank you for saving my sister!"

Sungjin said, with stars in his eyes, fascination.

"Y-yes, Oppa, thank you for saving me..." She shyly bow at me.

"No worries. Let's go, to the 2nd floor." He didn't ask for their opinion and just told them. 'next step, saving a damsel in distress.'

But on the way to the 2nd floor. We encountered the guy with a green cap.

"Oh, I thought you will be the first to reach the 2nd floor, unexpectedly you stayed here, you even bring a company? Anyway where is the monster?"

"It ran."

"Really now, you're lucky then, to think that hideous monster ran?" He then offer a handshake, "Name's Hyun Sangmin."

Ah, yes I remember now, Hyun Sangmin. I brought my hand to him and handshake. "Seol Jihu."

"Seol Jihu eh? Nice to meet you."

"Likewise."

He then pulled out a box of cigarettes and offer me a stick of it. I did, i place it in my lips and lit it with fire from my index finger.

[Misterk Kang Seok, Mister Yi Hyungsik, and Mister Jeong Minwoo have arrived at the second floor waiting area.]

The system voice called out.

"They're pretty quick huh? They must have rush there when the chaos was happening." I muttered. "Let's go, there is still a lot of time." I beckoned the siblings to follow me.

"Wait!" Hyun Sangmin called out.

"Let's go together what do you say? I don't need an equal standing, I'm your man and your the boss. You want a cigarette, I'll light it up for you. Hm?"

"But I can light my own..."

He shook his head. "No, no i don't mean it like that okay?"

I viewed his status and, This man's intuition is terrifying in discerning. He can be a good talent scouter in the future.

"I understand, then let's go."

"Where are we going boss?"

"To explore the building, there might be a convenience store here. We need to stock up foods for our needs."

"As expected from boss!"
