"M-Michael, how are those tests looking?" Andrew asked, desperate for something else, anything else, otherwise he was going to do things to Maxwell with others around. As much as he felt out of control, he never wanted to show that side of himself to others. He also never wanted to embarrass Maxwell.
"Another minute, but I'm slowly coming to a better understanding. Andrew, could you look at me for a second?" Andrew slowly raised his head from the crook of Maxwell's neck, only to have a bright pen light shone into his eyes. Wincing, Andrew closed his eyes quickly and was surprised to hear Michaels eerie chuckle.
"What did you just find out, Dr. Smith?" Maxwell asked, and Andrew took a few seconds to recover from the bright light shone into his eyes before he was able to see anything but bright lights. Maxwell had turned in his lap to face Michael, while Mr. Newman was white as a ghost. Michael ran his hand over his head, shaking it.
