chapter 4 : Meeting The God of Death

I grew wary and was extremely shocked because the voice sounded exactly like cold voice he has been listening to all this years, the voice of the Tower of Babel but this time the voice wasn't sounding from my head but from out side.

Swoosh! Swooosh

I turned my neck to looking around until my eyes rested back at the source of the voice and found that it was the man in purple!!!,

Shiryu eyes met with the purple armored man's eyes that were now intently looking at him trying to see deep into his soul, i felt my soul assaulted and being pulled by a powerful force!, I began to tremble as I looked into the man's glowing red eyes.

I felt like I was drowning, and sinking deep into an abyss with no end in sight then my vision blurred and changed, I reappeared in strange space but there were many life forms in front of him now but this time they weren't bodies but were alive full of powerfull energy,

I saw many images of many ancient and magnificent creatures and Divine beasts a Golden dragons, Azure dragons, Black dragons, white dragons ,fire and ice dragons he even saw red phoenixes dark phoenix ice phoenix , blood kirins, Golden apes , ox then he saw a magestic army emitting terrifying energies consisting of Human warriors , Elf's with their beautiful long silver hair , iron armoured Dwarfs like medieval knights, and behind them was a magnificent Tree with thick golden leafs and fruits that seem like they contained worlds , the tree stood as tall as the sky and pierced the heaven's it was several miles wide and boundless lifeforce was exuding from the tree.,it looked liked a Emperor staring at his subjects.

At the other side of the battlefield space were an army of the devil like creatures emitting terrifying baleful auras , they were led by fifty powerful devil warriors riding black dragons and their thick killing intent soared to the heavens.

"Attack!" A dignified voice that shook the earth sounded out

I wasn't sure who gave the order but immediately both sides charged at each other and clashed engaging in a long terrifying battle, space rippled the earth trembled and was split apart, the soil was dyed red with blood and the sky turn darkened as the battle raged on.

BOOM!! BOOM! CRACK! CRASH DANG!

Explosions reverberated through out the battlefield as the army collided

My scalp tingled as I felt the energies from the battle, I felt like an ant in the midst of elephant battling and that any left over spark and shockwave from even the weakest soilder in this earth shattering collision was enough to destroy him even when he was a super prime!.

BOOM!

A moment later the battle ended with the human and their allies prevailing with heavy losses and the earth literally was shattered and the sky ripped into two.

Then I saw the huge tree golden light shine brightly, spreading out little golden lights like dragons and phoenixes that slowly mended the heavens and the earth!! After that the light dimmed and my vision blurred once more and I returned

"what level of strength did those warriors involved in that battle achieve!" I thought still thinking of The great battle I just experienced.

"Sigh" I took a deep breath and calmed myself then I turned to look at the eyes behind the helmet again all he saw exhaustion, loneliness and sadness this time.

Sorry about that, couldn't help myself hahaha" the voice sounded out again, only this time it wasn't cold as it as always been it was filled with emotions.

I looked intently at the man and asked confusedly "who are you? what happened here,...what do you mean by I am your chosen one?!"

"My name is Bracia the God of death!...."Bracia is calmly answered.

I frowned as i checked my memories a contemplating look covered my face and try as I may, I couldn't recall anything about this so called Bracia,

I didn't know the man's realm, but for him to be called a 'God' his strength must be extremely high.

".... A long time has passed, and the world must have forgotten about us." Bracia said with a sigh, looking at my confused face, still firmly holding his trident.

Shiryu didn't speak, he just stayed there and waited for Bracia to continue

"Over hundred thousand years ago, the time when this world was filled with thick origin essence of heaven and earth"

"A race known as The Dare Devil race invaded Avalon continent from another plane, they cultivated by absorbing a lot of essence and life-force of every life-form and because their cultivation levels were extremely high and were way stronger than the other race at the same realm they suppressed and slaughtered more than a 3rd of the creatures on Avalon, for years they greedily devoured essence QI and even attempted to kill and absorb the heart of Avalon known as the Sacred Essence tree!! Deep in the abyss forest!".

"But then the sacred essence tree sacrificed half of its life source to strengthen the united army comprising of members of the 3 races and many spirit beasts."

"The Great God saints of humanity namely the God of life, the God of fire, God of light and darkness, the God of space and time and finally, my great self the God of death led humanity army."

"High elf Emperor, high elf high priest led his Royal Army".

"Together the united races fought and defeated the dare devil race after sacrificing a over half of the continents fighting capacity....."

"Then something worse happened about a thousand years later here, those bastards didn't stay dead but for some reason about 50 of the strongest dare devil race sovereigns woke up from the dead and became a powerful undead army and resumed their slaughter, so the leaders of the united army ambushed them, sacrificed all their lives to set this formation to seal the 50 undead dare ddvils sovereigns here"

"4 saint Gods, the high elf emperor, the high priest, the seven dwarf kings and the dragon emperor and empress fell in this battlefield only I remained"

"The sacred essence tree expended most of its life force and has been recuperating for over a hundred thousand years"
