Arthur has taken his badge from the Magic Pharmacy Guild and has thanked Cornelius for the help he has provided. Although Arthur can fight her guards, it will still bring him unnecessary trouble if he provokes the Gales Family.
Unknowingly, the young lady named Lynette has ordered his guards to return without her. The guards try to convince her not to go out alone but she insists that they go back as she still has some matters to do.
In fact, what she wants to do is not really important. She has only secretly followed Arthur to where he will be going. For some reason, she is curious as to where he lives and what he normally does. After all, Arthur is the first to break the world record in mana accuracy test.
Arthur can feel that someone is following him. However, this has been strengthened when the system warns him.
"There is a danger near you." The system alerts Arthur.
This is the first time that Arthur feels threatened. He is far away from his home and he is unfamiliar with Versailles City. Much more to the Gales Family. Although he has doubted that the Gales Family will make a dumb move on him, he will know soon.
He walks around as he tries to find an empty place or alley. He is confident with his skills and if he believes that it is dangerous, he will enter the Great Library.
After finding the perfect spot with no people, Arthur has turned around before speaking. "Come out now."
Lynette, the young lady of the Gales Family, has come out from hiding on pillars and posts. "Hi, my name is Lynette. I want to apologize for earlier."
She taps her index fingers together as he waits for his reply.
"I have told you already that it is okay. Are you here to silence me?" Arthur has angrily spoken as he prepares to cast a spell.
"No, no!" Lynette waves her hands in the air. "I am only here to know what you do and where you live. I am a fan. Hehe."
Arthur falls into confusion. The system has warned him that there is danger nearby and he feels like being followed.
"She is not the danger I am talking about." The system hurriedly replies.
Before Arthur can hear all of the system's words, three men, whose face are covered in black cloth and are wearing black robe, have appeared.
"A ransom from the Gales Family will surely be high." One of the men has said while looking at Lynette with greedy eyes.
Arthur is angry that Lynette has brought him trouble earlier but he will also not let her get kidnap. "Get behind my back."
The scared Lynette follows the instruction of Arthur. She has only reached the fourth stage of Magic Apprentice and looking at these men, it can be deduced that they are around the strength of her guards.
Seeing Arthur's actions and words, another man steps forward. He is the least burly among the three but he seems to be the leader of the this group. "If you don't want to die, don't get yourself involved."
"Hand over the woman." The other two have said to Arthur.
However, what they have not noticed was the sudden change within Arthur.
"Kill? You three are murderers?"
Arthur's head has been pointed to the ground but if they will see his eyes, it has completely changed. This is the same scenario with what happened to the thieves. He has completely lost his consciousness while his body is still moving.
The boss has ordered for the two men to catch Arthur but he has jumped off by pushing the two men's shoulders. He floats in the air as he watches the three men from above the ground.
Arthur smirks before casting an unknown spell that he has never learned. Suddenly, one of the burly men has exploded from the inside. This has caused great shock to the boss and to the other man.
However, Arthur has not yet stopped as he flicks his finger and a wind spell has been casted. The head of the other man except the boss has flown off.
Seeing Arthur acting like this, Lynette has looked at him with shock. This is not a human. He is a monster. She is about breakdown when the boss has took out a knife and he has held her hostage.
Arthur is still in this weird state when the boss has told him. "Don't come near me or I will kill her."
However, after he has spoken this, he may have never expected that those words will be his last. The knife on his hand falls and then he feels like being choked however there is no hand on his neck.
After this event, Lynette stares at Arthur like a monster. She runs away from the scenes.
When Arthur wakes up, he is not aware of what has transpired.
