The Chef x The Movie Emperor

Nix's P.O.V.:

'Solaris, am I really destined to never have to strong muscles and body I yearn for? It really is not fair; I am stuck in a world full of alphas and even some betas that have the body types of my dreams and yet here I am a lowly omega. Tsk, well I guess we all can't be as luck as Choi Yongbok, that man actually has the body of my dreams.' Phoenix rhetorically asked through their shared mental link.

Solaris did not respond to this thinking to himself that it is Mama Phoenix already had a muscular and fit body, it is just that it was optimal to his body. Oh, how he wished his Mama could see himself for how he really is. His poor, poor Mama Phoenix is still very scared from all his past trauma, but Solaris knows that with time and the help of his master's soul mate Phenix will finally be able heal those scars.

'Ok enough with the self-pity party and time to get this little brother of mine up' Tae-Hwan thought to himself as he reached out to shake his brother awake.

 "Little Brother it is time for you to get up and get ready for class so that we can go down for breakfast." Phoenix said with a smile on his lovely face. Upon all this Beyol Joon reached up and pulled Nix into the bed with him wrapping his long legs and arms around Phenix and sleepily stated "ok, ten more minutes."

Phenix was completely taken aback and froze for a moment before struggling to get free. Beyol Joon had no intentions of letting go.

The original Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan loved this brother of his and to Phoenix's surprise he felt a strong emotion of affection and something else that he could not quite place for this new little brother of his.

Because of the complex emotions along with the warm and dare he say fuzzy feeling in his chest coupled with his deep secret longing for real familial bonds and relationships, he found that he wanted to cherish this moment with him for as long as he could.

Yes, he was aware Beyol Joon had a borderline brother complex, but he would never cross that line. That said it did not mean he would not blur it bit. This new little brother of his was determined to get his fill of tofu this morning.

Since this particular older brother of his moved out into his own bedroom, they no longer need to share a bed anymore, so he does not get to snuggle with him anymore. Phenix looked at him with an indulging smile as if he was looking at a toddler stubbornly saying that they were not tired when they clearly were.

"Alright you can have 2 minutes tops, and do you not think you are too old to still be this clinging?" Phenix asked as his new little brother rubbed his face on Phenix's chest.

 Beyol Joon shamelessly replied "Nope, not at all. I am still underage and Hyung loves me the most. Not to mention I am very handsome so I can get away with it." Phenix just gawked at this little brother of his.

'This little brat! How can he be so shameless?' he thought. Phenix playfully spat (like a tap but harder but not as hard as a smack) his little brother's cheek and told him, "That is enough now get up and stop being so shameless!", in the sternest voice he could muster while trying to keep a straight face.

 Finally, Beyol Joon let go and Nix crawled out of the bed. His cheeks were slightly red from all the skinship. Who would or could blame him after all this was all new to him. He cannot remember ever having any skinship in all his past lives.

Humans need physical contact to develop and thrive, but he never had that. He might have when he was a tottering youngster in a few of his lives, however it was only ever enough to meet the bare minimum.

He did not hate the skinship or closeness, it is just that it was out of his comfort zone. He watched as Beyol Joon got ready quickly and when he went to brush his teeth and wash his face Phenix looked around the room. The wall of metals displaying all of his hard work achievements.

His little brother is a star swimmer for his high school. Being a senior this Beyol Joon was shooting for a swimming scholarship so that he could attend university. Phoenix was already very proud of this little brother of his indeed. A few minutes later Beyol Joon came back, and they headed downstairs to the restaurant to have breakfast with the rest of the family.

Along the way they exchanged small talk about their upcoming day. Both had classes today, Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan/Phoenix had his, Culinary Arts and business administration classes at uni while Beyol Joon, had high school classes.

Nix looked up at his new little brother and could not help but ask "So are you dating anyone these days?" He saw in the host's memories that Beyol Joon was always surrounded by admires but he never seemed to really be interested in any of them. Beyol Joon just shook his head no with a serious look on his face.

Looking ahead at nothing in particular. Phoenix had more questions about Beyol Joon's response as well as demeanor when answering his question. However, he could tell from the tone of his voice to drop this conversation so he will leave it alone, for now at least.

'I really should stop thinking about him as my new little brother, in fact I should hurry and get used to referring to all the Beyols as my family and not as my new family or the shell's family. I can't risk accidentally referring to them as my new family or new family member(s), but it may take time for it to stop feeling strange. I have never been close with any of the so-called family members I have had in the past and they for damn sure didn't give two shits about me so having a family member or even family members who truly love and care for me is so surreal still… I think I like it though it feels a bit dangerous because I am not sure how I will ever go back to being an orphan or having trash family again.' Nix thought to himself.

Though Phoenix kept those thoughts private from Solaris, he could still tell what his Mama Nix was probably feeling and thinking at this moment, and it only broke his heart. He wishes he could take away all the hurt and suffering his poor Mama Phoenix endured but sadly he can't. At this moment Solaris was feeling just as helpless and dejected as Nix, both remained silent not even reaching out to speak through their shared mental link.

As the two youngest Beyol siblings got closer to the restaurant kitchen they could hear their parents and sister cooking. Beyol Young-Jae was setting dishes on the dining table when they walked in. He was already dressed for work and looking very handsome in his gray suit and lilac-colored tie that made his eyes shine even brighter.

"Good morning Hyunng" Phenix and Beyol Joon said at the same time. Beyol Young-Jae looked up and upon seeing Beyol Joon he addressed him first as Phoenix was walking slightly behind him, looked up with a soft but semi-stern smile while replying "Good morning Joon, I hope you slept well. I know you have that big test in mathematics today. I know you will do well. You are very intelligent and top of your class."

 "Yeah, I slept well and even had a great alarm this morning" said Beyol Joon whilst chuckling. "Great now I am an alarm clock?" Phenix jokingly replied while gently punching his little brother's arm. "Hey now you will damage the goods. Don't you know my arms are precious?" Beyol Joon said all this with a straight face until he could not hold it in any longer and burst out in full belly laughs.

 Beyol Young-Jae turned his attention to Phoenix and his smile blossomed into a blindingly brilliant smile as he walked forward to wrap this precious "baby" brother in a big hug. "Good morning my precious sunshine! I hope you slept well! Tell this big brother if that brat is bothering you again." Beyol Young-Jae said while winking down at Phoenix.

Beyol Joon snorted in indignation and rolled his eyes at his eldest brother's antics. He could not blame his eldest hyeong for dotting on Phoenix Hyung; after all, he is the sunshine of their family.

Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan/Phoenix is without a doubt everyone's favorite and it did not bother him one bit. On the contrary he along with the rest of his family not only loved and adored him but were also in agreement that Pheonix should be gatekept and protected at all costs.

 Even if he was not a dominant omega or even just an omega and was simply a beta like the rest of them, they would still feel this way. It is not just about his looks or status as a dominant omega, but he was still so innocent and naive like a young child, and they could not bear the thought of him losing that. They all know that it is past time that they stop sheltering him so much, but it was difficult to think about let alone enact.

Phenix on the other hand was red from cheeks to ears, as he looked back and forth between his two brothers. "I, I slept well Hyung, thank you for asking and your help. This nam-dong-saeng (younger brother/little brother) of yours is very blessed to have such an understanding, caring and outstanding hyeong." Phenix said while smiling so sweetly that one could not help but smile back. Phenix was shy because no one had ever talked to him like this before.

Despite all the pain and betrayal, he has been subjected to all these years, he found that he wanted this new family of his to like and dare he hope even to love him.

Because this update is shorter than normal due to me accidentally deleting everything, I had written right before posting it and because I forgot to save it prior to that mess up I am now scrambling trying to remember everything I had written. Beyol Young-Jae: "Oh, well you know I love you too, but you aren't Nix so... yeah"

Phoenix: just smiles and shakes his head gently while chuckling at his silly brothers.
