The battle of good and evil.

"Ynas, you may begin your fun, you can take as much time as you need to make them suffer. But no demon will escape today!" All the guardians can sense my anger right now and makes them even more determined.

Ynas let out a huge roar as he takes flight, shaking the entire forest in the process. He is, after all, about 115 feet (35m) in length. Mythi lets out a howl and her pack follows her in howling before they all vanish from sight, going stealth to deal with fleeing demons. I gave Asea a new bow, one made for long-ranged attacks, she will be able to hit demons from about 2 kilometers away. The enchantments on the bow make the speed of the arrows fly several times faster, almost the speed of a bullet from Earth.

With everyone set to slaughter the demons, I start moving my domain closer to the demon stronghold, I plan to make the entire demon territory into my domain but the end of the battle and purge all the evil in this land.

The fighting had begun, almost a total of a hundred thousand humans against around 40,000 demons. Demons came in different shapes, there were some that had the shape of massive bears, standing over 3 meters tall on all fours, some were like rabbits, small, but extremely deadly and quick. It was like fighting a horde of monsters. There were some humanoid demons in the back, leading the assault.

The Holy Kingdom of Iphion had experience fighting demons and their priests had spent the entire way here, blessing the weapons of every single soldier, so that they can deal more damage to the demons. They had heavily armored infantry in the front, the Kremore Kingdom's prince was on the frontline, waiting for the charge of demons to bash them. He had confidence he had the strength to hold the line, but he was not so sure about the others. Most of his people were in the back as mages or archers.

The battlefield was silent, the only thing you could hear was the stomps of the demon horde charging blindly.

"RELEASE!" A human screamed and the sky was darkened with arrows that smashed down on the demons, but they didn't do much. Many demons had very tough skin and some had armored skin, so many arrows were brushed off.

But the humanoid demons didn't like the idea of arrows ruining their fun, so they put up magic to ward off arrows. The next volley of arrows was useless as they just stopped in the middle of the air and fell to the ground, doing no damage at all.

"BACK UP!" A human screamed and the entire frontline ran back almost 10 meters and got behind a spiked barricade that was hiding between the humans, made out of metal and wood, and were enchanted with holy magic and nature magic to make more damage against the demons as well as make it sturdier.

The humanoid demons had no chance to stop the charge of demons.

The demons smashed into the barricades and the first rows were smashed to bits, the frontline humans were finishing them off with long-ranged weapons, such as spears or halberds. Then the smarter and smaller demons came, jumping over the barricades, but the humans were ready for it and was currently winning the initial battle.

The humans pushed forward and the mages pulled the barricades back to the second line of defense and repaired them. So far the battle was going hugely in the human's favor, they had lost very few people, most was just injured and was getting healed, while the demons had lost almost a thousand already.

Alexander was fighting bravely on the frontline with his massive armor along with a huge shield and a great sword, he was almost 2m tall and looked very heroic as he easily cut demons in half with his massive sword in one hand or crushed demons when he smashed them with his shield. Many humans on the frontline looked to him for inspiration.

After an hour of battle, most were tired and had to withdraw to swap with others to get rest, Alexander still had the stamina to continue and had at this time killed many demons. The battle was looking very good for humans. But all good things come to an end.

On the frontline battle, the ground shook and several mask-like demons came from underground, they themselves were not the issue, but they opened a path for the massive demons that was underground. Monstrosities that were at least twice as big as the biggest demon they'd fought so far came swarming out of the ground and smashed the humans to bits. The only one who could defend against the charge of these demons was Alexander, but even he struggled.

"RETREAT!" A shout was heard and everyone started backing away toward the second line of defense. All this time mages had been casting non-stop magic on the demons, the academy people were using Nature Magic and used support magic to help in the battlefield. They had saved many people and helped kill a lot of demons. They bind the demons when they were close to killing someone with vines, which led to the human easily killing them. But the demons that came now easily destroyed the vines created by the nature mages.

When all humans were behind the second line, a massive wall of thorns appeared in front and the demons charging in got stuck and got poisoned, the humans reacted fast and bombarded the demons with spears, arrows, and magic to kill then. This was one of the teachers doing that had joined to take care of their students, and it was an elf at that. But it did not take long before the demons smashed through the thorn-wall and charged the humans once again, the barricades did not do well against these demons.

"ROOOOOAAAAARRRRR" I huge roar filled the air and shook the entire battlefield.

The humans got scared, thinking a massive demon was coming and they were all screwed but the elves knew right away who's roar that was. From the south, everyone saw a massive green dragon emerge that flew towards them. The elves started shouting, it didn't take long before many of the humans knew that the dragon was on their side.

The dragon flew in very fast and quickly arrived above the battlefield and let out a breath of poison on the demons, killing every demon it got in contact with. The humans who got in contact with the breath got healed and got all their lost stamina back.

The dragon only needed two breaths to change the battle in the human's favor before it changed direction and flew towards the stronghold. The humanoid demons tried slaying the dragon with their magic, but the magic only bounced off the scales of the massive dragon. The dragon arrived above the stronghold and starter hovering over it.

Everyone on the battlefield who could sense magic could sense the massive amount of magic gathering by the mouth of the dragon before it let out another huge roar and another breath attack, but this breath attack was much larger and destroyed the majority of the stronghold in a single attack. From within the stronghold, vines appeared and started piercing any demon it got close to, killing them.

On the battlefield arrows arrived from the south, one after another, it killed the big demons effortlessly. From the south, they could see an army of trees walking towards the battlefield and on the shoulder of one of the trees, they saw a humanoid figure.

SIlver wolfs started appearing out of thin air, killing demons on the battlefield before disappearing again. The humans got a huge morale boost and charged once again.

The humanoid demons didn't get much chance to do much as they got picked off by arrows and wolfs that just seemed to appear from nowhere.

Just as the humans charge the barren wasteland suddenly changed into a grass field and in the stronghold, a huge tree was born. Vines appeared out of the ground, killing almost all the demons, the humans all got healed, even lost limbs were returned. The walking trees, also known as Ents got in range and no demon stood a chance against the massive tree creatures. Before they even got close the Ents had already used the nature magic to their advantage and killed the demons close to them.

The battle was won. I did not think I could get more powerful than I already was, but when I expanded my domain to the demons land and took over it, every demon that got killed in my domain gave me a small boost of power. The stronger the demon, the stronger the boost was, I could also feel that the boost was permanent. I will always accept more power, I don't know what else is out there, if there are other gods or deities, then I need to be ready to defend myself if they are hostile.

If gods exist, then I need to be ready for a demon god to exist as well!

I arrived in front of the stronghold and Ynas was sitting on top of the gate, how it could hold his weight, I don't know, but he was sitting there, waiting for me.

"Master, here is their leader," Ynas said in a cold and monotone voice, cold and monotone to many, but to me, it was filled with love and respect.

A vine holding a humanoid demon came closer to me, the demon had his mouth covered with vines.

"Thank you, child. Let's wait for the leaders of the assault before we judge this demon for his sins." Ynas simply nodded, he was not much of a speaker.

The humans got closer but were slightly scared of the massive dragon that sat there, looking at them, and when the massive wolf and its pack suddenly appeared and stood beside me, got them even more scared. But there were those that were not scared, elves and half-elves and everyone from the kremore kingdom. I could see Alexander running towards me.

"Mlande!" He yelled as he got closer, my guardians already knew I was okay with them calling me without honorifics, I considered the kremore royal family as friends, and friends do not need to use honorifics.

"Alexander, you fought well. I'm sorry for arriving so late, I had to gather my forces." It was an excuse though, if I fought the battle alone and killed everyone without any of the humans helping, they would probably just see me as "stealing their glory". Human minds are hard to figure out sometimes, but I knew many came here for glory. In Iphion, killing demons is seen as a huge glory and any surviving member of the assaults on demons got a boost in status in the kingdom, not officially, but many looked up to them when they came back after fighting demons.

Alexander nodded slightly. before he asked me about Mariana. I told him everything that happened when I arrived there and I told her she would be fine. Alexander almost broke into tears, but he wanted to stay strong in front of the men he fought with.

The leaders of the army arrived shortly and walked up to me cautiously.

"Hello, I'm sorry for arriving late. This demon here is the leader of the ones in the stronghold." I turn to face the human leaders when I talk and the vine holding the demon arrived and the humans could see him.

"Let's decide together what his punishment will be," I say as I look at the demon with cold eyes.

The humans started talking with each other before one of them walked forward to speak for them all and we started discussing what each of us wanted with the demon, we both agreed that he has to die, but how and where is where we disagreed.

He wanted the bring the demon to the Holy capital for a public execution, but I told him that the only reason he is so passive is that I'm suppressing him with the vines. I also tell him that outside of my domain, I will not be able to do the same, which is total BS, but they don't need to know that.

We came to the conclusion that we would execute him in the very stronghold he rules ones, but we could make it public and anyone could be here to see it as well as using magic to record the execution. They wanted to broadcast the execution in the kingdom to show their victory against the demons in the continent.
