While wandering around, Yasu saw a big wolf measuring approximately a meter resting behind a bush. If he weren't paying enough attention to his surroundings, he would have missed it. Since the wolf was sleeping, Yasu decided to try his luck as he closed the distance between them by walking slowly, but stealthily with the Asauchi in his hand.

20 meters...17 meters...12 meters...5 meters.....

The closer he got to the wolf, the more stressed he became. He was still an ordinary high-school student recently, after all. Every step he took felt like he was approaching a terrifying monster. Just when he was only 5 meters away from the animal, Yasu stepped on a tree branch due to his inexperience. Which, in turn, awoke the wolf from its peaceful slumber.

("Damn it...")

The world around him seemed to slow down due to the adrenaline rush. As the wolf tried to get up in slow motion, Yasu made up a new plan in his head with his superior mind processing speed. He lunged toward the wolf in an attempt to close the remaining distance between them and swung the katana horizontally toward It. The wolf tried to avoid the attack by stepping back in a futile effort to survive. In the next moment, darkness claimed its vision as its head got sliced from its body. Usually, with an average sword, Yasu wouldn't have been able to do the same feat as simple as cutting butter. As his body came down from a peak hormone, he kneeled and tried to regain his breathing.

It was his first time killing a living being. Even though Yasu wasn't a coward, he was still a little afraid because he never had to fight until now.

"Pheww...that was a close call.." Yasu muttered.

After storing his hunt with a thought, he started looking for a place where he would be living until the start of the saga. His physical strength was even weaker than Happy as the regular people's strength in this world was higher than Earth's. Besides, he didn't even know how to use a katana and fight properly. He only managed to win by using a sneak attack and his OP Asauchi.

By night, Yasu found a relatively small cavern of around 45 m³, well hidden by bushes and trees. Afterward, he managed to cook a part of the wolf's meat courtesy of the fire he hardly made.

("The remaining meat in the dimensional inventory should last me for around 1 week as time doesn't flow in there...Bon appétit")

On this night, the natural black hugs the stars as a mother to her newborn, announcing the end of Yasu's first day in this new world.

3 months later

As the risen sun casts a rosy hue across the morning sky, a teenager could currently be seen standing before a large brown bear. With a smiling expression on his face and a katana in his right hand, Yasu quickly charged towards the animal. In response, the bear aimed its claw toward his belly, intending to pierce him. However, the teenager didn't even try to evade the attack. Surprisingly when the claws hit him, there wasn't even have a scratch visible on his muscular body. Instead, the bear was stunned to find out that its claws shattered in half. This moment of distraction costs the animal its life as, in the next moment, Yasu's katana aimed at its heart and claimed its life.

Yasu had used his Reiatsu to harden his skin and effectively protected himself. He had made a lot of progress in these months. He had prepared a schedule for his daily life in the forest. In the morning, he would cultivate his Body with the Cultivation Technique to revitalize his body and start the day in high spirit. After that, he would train his control over his Reiatsu. Without having control over his Spiritual Pressure, he would be freezing people around him like what happened to Toshiro Hitsugaya. The latter had frozen his grandmother when he was a young boy before becoming a shinigami. Later, Yasu would be mastering basic sword fighting. The next day would be for Reiryoku Cultivation, relaxing his body and consolidating his foundation. He would also go hunting whenever his food reserve became empty.

The significant discovery of these months was his Ice Dragon race. However, his dragon bloodline was still unawakened. So he couldn't make use of it yet. Also, his magic had awakened. Yasu had only planned to fight other people with his Asauchi, so this came out as a great surprise and increased his fighting arsenal. The name was Ice King, a caster magic type. It gives the user a great increase in the magic power over ice magic as well as a boost for offence, defence, and agility parameters. The Ice King can evolve in the future.

After the long hunt, Yasu made his way back to his cavern to get a little rest. While walking towards his destination, he heard someone spoke which startled him as he hasn't spoken to someone for a month. Yasu decided to stealthily approach the origin of the voice and see what was going on.

Arriving at the place, Yasu could see a bald man wearing a black jacket and pants threatening them as he said "Give me your money or die...Gyahahaha"

The trio villagers were shivering behind a man wearing a knight outfit, and a sword pointed toward the bandits.

"You'll have to go through me first! I am a rank E mage of the Knights Guild!"

It didn't take a genius to understand what was going on. Yasu decided to only observe for the moment and see how the mage in this world fight.
