CH.7 Autumn

As the golden light envelops them Shiro holds Ichie and Akira tight in his grasp. After the light fade away they looked around and saw an unfamiliar place as this place isn't snowy rather it's a little bit warm. Ichie and Akira look around and thought 'Is this the other islands the elder always talked about it seems nice.'

While Ichie and Akira had their thought Shiro's mind is in a mess as he thought 'Damnit, why would he had a talisman to teleport us here to the autumn island.' Even though Shiro knew he's strong he still isn't able to defeat all the beast as from the information he got from his mind, the other beast already had complete control over their power since birth and had strength at minimal at Indra's and most Shiva's in canon DxD. While it's true he could surpass all of them by battling them and devouring them right now it's not the right time yet so he needs to think on how to escape this perilous situation.

Shiro train of thoughts was broken when a person clapped and he focuses his attention on the source as did Ichie and Shiro, There they saw a rock man and a beautiful woman following behind him.

The woman then looked at Gnome, "Good job Gnome," Gnome smiled at her thinking he might get a reward but what she said next terrified him, "You had served your purpose now begone,"

"Wait, mistress, I..." Before Gnome could finish he got twisted and then disappeared from existence an action shocking Ichie and Akira but not Shiro as he already knows something was off with that woman.

"Welcome to Autumn Island, Beast of winter. I'm The beast of Autumn." He said while scanning Shiro and his companion power levels he just snorted that they're weaker than him. While on the sidelines Iris was waiting for the right moments to completely control Autumn. As she knew Shiro would do some desperate attacks to escape, she only needs the right moment and the world domination would be a step closer.

Shiro then telepathically told Ichie and Akira to stay behind and keep an eye on that woman to which the two agreed as this fight is out of their league. They also tried to thought about a way to escape this area as they could feel a barrier blocking them from teleporting back.

Knowing what Winter (the official beast name is its season.) would do Autumn shrugged and said, "Let's get this show on the road shall we." Shiro nodded and then both of them moved closer and Autumn said, "Stay out of this Iris." The woman known as Iris nodded her head. Shiro then looked back at Ichie and Akira then smiled at them. Akira and Ichie could only smile a little as they're afraid about what would happen to him but they still need to follow his command after all so they stay away and keep an eye on Iris.

"Let's get this started," Autumn said as the two clashes, Shockwave was felt and what Ichie and Akira saw was only a blur as they moved so fast that they couldn't keep track of it. Iris, on the other hand, could see the battle.

[Shiro's POV]

I was exchanging blow after blows against Autumn, it's really hard to get past his defends as his skin is really hard. I was thinking about how to break past his rock skin.

I then tried to do something, I coated my hand with thin air, which goes unnoticed by Autumn. I then use my hand to chop his arm, which succeded as I left a tiny mark on his arm but it seems he doesn't notice it as he tried to punch me in the face to which I dodge barely. So now I know that wind is capable of hurting him.

I fall back and got into a stance, "Is that all you got ?" He said as he attacked me again. I dodge and tried to counter attacks while I think of methods to deal with him.

'I know that I'm weaker than him, and he knows the same so he must be underestimating me. The question is how to use that knowledge to my advantage, he got me beaten in almost every expertise except for agility as I'm more agile than he does.'

I think hard and I figured a plan that could work, so I fall back and charged up a magic attack, "Hoh preparing a magic attack huh? let's see what it can do." Autumn relaxes and waited for me to finish my magic. I smirked and thought 'Just as I thought he underestimates me more than I think.' I then put my hands on top of each other and wind started to gather on the tips. Then a wind katana appeared, I hold it in my hands and got into a sword stance.

He smirked, "Is this what you prepared for," and laughed for a while but then he snorted, "Pathetic." and started to moves towards me, He was preparing for an uppercut so I moves back and sliced his arm to which he reacted and blocked the strike, "Your wind sword is so weak it doesn't even scratch my skin."

I just looked at him, and we kept on trading blows after blow, he then keeps on being more relaxed, when I saw a chance I changed my stance and pulled back my katana to the side to a Batto Jutsu stance, he just charged at me thinking that it was the same as the other strike.

I smirked, 'He finally dropped his guards against me.' I then focus my magic on the sword and the wind goes from relaxed to chaotic a green aura surrounded the sword and a sharp sound is heard. I then said, " Eternal Rest 1st Night: Starfall" This skill is a quick draw skill which creates a thousand imaginary sword which attacks the same spot making it a deathly attack.

Autumn realizes this too late and failed to dodge the attack which cut off his arm, However, I wasn't finished as I turned around and got into another stance this time with my sword on my side. I then slashed my sword in a crescent motion, "Eternal Rest 1st Night: Crescent moon." I slashed past through him which exploded into a small wind burst. Making him seriously injured, I then felt the barrier weakens and think this is my chance to escape thus I teleported towards Ichie and Akira then. Teleported away from the island.

Before teleporting I saw that Iris was smirking, and I wonder what she was plotting but I put it on the back of my head. I also left some ice birds to spy on this island.

Shiro got away and he knew he was lucky in doing so as Autumn didn't use any magic attacks during the fight and only go for physical confrontation. On the other hand, Iris was smiling and headed towards where Autumn is laying down his breath was a little ragged as he's healing his wound, he opened his eyes and saw Iris, "Damnit I let my guard down, Iris help me" He said to her but she just snorted and pull his chin upwards towards her face, "Now you're going to only follow my command." She said as she uses her mind-control power.

Autumn felt something was wrong but his mind is too cloudy to notice it, and then his mind went blank and his eyes go cloudy, "Who are you ?" Iris asked him, "I'm... your servant mistress," She smirked, "What is your purpose ?" His eyes went from cloudy to gain some clarity "My purpose is to serve you." She then smirked, she had completely succeded to take control over one beast only five more to go. 'Next target Spring' She thought.
