CH.12 Hunting the Beasts

The next day Shiro, Ichie and Akira prepare themselves to fight the beast. The wore their equipment and do some stretching. They then started to head out towards the other beasts.

"So who are we hunting first Shiro ?" Akira asked, "We should go after them first ?" He said.

"Them Nya~?" Ichie asked while tilting her head.

"Yes, Dry and Rain as they're always fighting, we should be able to handle them easily." He said while Ichie and Akira's eyes light up and he could almost see fire on their eyes. They look excited to fight enemies, 'I think they had become battle junkies.' He couldn't be more wrong as Ichie and Akira's excitement was because they finally had a chance to prove themselves to Shiro. They had been wondering when they could prove to Shiro that they're Useful and could help him. Even though the Top 10 had shown him their rank they never showed their full battle prowess against him.

"But we don't know where their islands are." Akira said, Shiro, smirked which irritate Ichie, "Shiro you baddie, why you didn't tell us Nya~?" He pats her head, "Well, I just found it recently when we got back. I felt some fluctuation albeit it was just a minuscule. Follow me" Shiro then accelerate and went towards a certain direction with Akira and Ichie following behind him.

When they arrived they saw a Red T-Rex and a big blue whale fighting each other. Yep, they're Groudon and Kyogre. Who's the Dry and Rain of this book. So let's just imagine that Shiro's the Rayquaza but instead of stopping their fight he interferes well not directly at least. Shiro seeing this facepalmed 'Why are they the Dry and Rain couldn't they be someone else?' Well forgetting that before Shiro could say anything both Ichie and Akira charged towards them.

Seeing that he was basically being ignored Shiro decided to become like Rayquaze who makes his entrance flashy well mostly Icy rather than flashy. He then pressurized both Dry and Rain making them harder to move. Seeing this change Ichie and Akira launched their attack, they stand next to each other, and a magic circle appeared below them.

Massive amount of ice blade appeared from the ground coated with wind and water and started dancing around the battlefield attacking it's target chaos closing any means of escape, the only way to escape this technique is if the caster ran out of mana or the enemy died first or they overpower the blade itself which was near impossible.

Shiro seeing this got chills because he was subjected as a training dummy for this technique luckily he was strong enough to overpower the technique or else he might be fatally wounded at best and dead at worst. It was a truly terrifying technique not to mention their abilities to switch places. Which surely could be a turning point in any battles.

'Better wait for the technique to end the I could use gluttony on them. Hopefully, they give me useful power.' Shiro thought as he waited for Akira and Ichie's unison raid to finishes. After a while, you could see a badly wounded Kyogre and Groudon lying on the ground while Ichie and Akira were wiping their sweat off while signaling for Shiro to get them since they knew Shiro had some sort of devouring abilities.

Shiro got near Kyogre and Groudon then uses his devouring abilities. A black substance appeared from his left hand which started enveloping Kyogre and Groudon bodies. It then completely absorbed them into his bodies. Shiro then felt his body evolves and his magic got stronger he even got some information about his new powers, he got an earth element and 1/2 of the sun powers from Groudon/Dry, he also had access to draining powers of others to empower itself. While from Kyogre/Rain he got the power over the weather, a deeper understanding of the elements and the ability to empower itself overtime.

'No wonder they're always at a stalemate as their abilities counter each other Groudon with some kind of a divine dividing and Kyogre with boosted gear.' Shiro thought when he got these abilities. He then got over to Ichie and Akira where he hugged them tightly and give them some of his mana to help them recover. They returned the hug and talked for a while after that they moved towards the next island, Autumn.

-Meanwhile Iris-

She finally got a hold of Spring after her incredible acting which got her to follow her commands. Just when Spring lower her guard Iris immediately grasp her head and uses her mind control magic to it's fullest to which exhaust all her mana and make her really weak but it was worth it as she now got Spring on her side, Spring also told her the weakness of summer. He only got so strong under the sun which means that on the night he's at his weakest.

The only nearest island with a constant night is in winter so she needed to formulate some kind of plan to lure him to the winter island.

-Meanwhile In the Dimensional Gap-

"Looks like that woman got another beast under her hands." Great Red looked at Iris with disdain as she uses mind control magic a type which he hates the most. He hated manipulative people. Ophis just hummed which got his interest so he went towards her and peeked to see what's she's looking at.

"Ohoh it seems that Winter got stronger than last time and a lot stronger even though he still below that sun boy." Great Red said which annoyed Ophis, "Baka-Red Go away." She then exerted her aura to which Great Red conceded as he didn't really want to fight her so he just got back to his place.

After Great Red leaves, she saw Shiro companions defeat the dino and whale, and she saw Shiro devours them she felt chills from that thing it was like it could eat anything. "Interesting." She said as she kept on watching Shiro with his cat and wolf.
