"You can't wake up, this is not a dream."

All his (Harry) life, he only knew to please people. It was the only way to survive in such a world. His parents died due to mistakes they couldn't take back, his uncle and aunty wanted nothing to do with him and treated him like nothing but a house help. Then there was his school; What kind of school awards points for killing others? What kind of school allows children to carry weapons, what kind of school puts a bounty on the students heads? And why does Malfoy look so good in black? OR Harry James Potter is having a mental breakdown and questioning his sexuality all at once.

Chapter 1: The Abused

In a dimly lit room, with no windows and a staircase leading up to a locked door, sat a boy, who looked to be around 18 to 19 years old, bound to a metal chair. He had a blindfold on with nothing but boxers on his battered and bruised body. His lips chapped, his skin devoid of moisture, and his hair a mess.

A click was heard from the door, along with an infuriating creak, sending shivers down his spine. His hands twisted with discomfort against the ropes that bound him, inflicting pain on his already blistered wrists.

The clicking of heels and the occasional squeaking of sneakers were heard coming down the stairs, sending massive waves of dread down his spine once more. "You seem to be doing well." A man's deep voice sounded in the compact room, echoing off the walls. The voice seemed too muffled to be his real voice, which meant he was trying to disguise his voice, in turn making it sound like gravel.

A gloved hand took hold of the boy's chin, twisting it side to side, before tossing it back with force, "Don't touch him!! He might give you a disease!!" A scratchy female voice was heard, like nails to a chalkboard.

The man let out a chuckle of amusement before grabbing a handful of the tortured boy's hair. It was sticky with blood and sweat, and it felt like burnt pieces of straw. "Y-you..." Was all the man could croak out of his dry mouth. The man chuckled and the woman cackled.

"I wonder how much money I'll get for you. I'm sure your bounty has gone up by now" he teased as if it were a joke before a loud clink of metal was heard hitting the ground. Probably the lame excuse of stale bread and water they call food. The two simply went up the stairs and locked it.

The boy sat still for a few minutes before bopping his head up and down. He shook his head vigorously for 5 minutes until the blindfold slid off, revealing a set of bright emerald green eyes. He blinked, adjusting to the dimly lit room.

It may have been a little light that was present, but it was bright enough to give him a headache. He had been blindfolded 24/7 for 2 weeks. His eyes darted around the room, taking in the surroundings. 'Dusty and filthy, just as expected.' Was what came into his head first.

He tugged a stray string of rope, releasing him from the binds of the rope. "They should learn how to tie a rope," he muttered, tossing the row aside as he got up to stretch his stiff limbs after being bound for 14 days. He had planned to escape sooner but, it all just seemed like the wrong time.

It wasn't like he could bust out of the ropes and fight the people who kidnapped him. No, that's stupid. He didn't even have a weapon.

So he waited until he was sure that today would be the day to escape. Today, the man and his supposed side chick would be going out, as said by some workers passing by the door a few days prior.

Staying in a room with no light or sound can do wonders for one's hearing. All he had to do was concentrate. After all the burning, lashing, breaking of bones, and pulling of fingernails, it was time he did something about it. He learned from a young age that if you can't rely on others, rely on yourself.

This was all he could do for himself since he was 6 years old. No one would tell him what happened to his parents, his aunt and uncle barely considered him a human being and his cousin just loved to make his life hell. If it weren't for the fact that his school was equally as bad, he would have loved to stay there 24/7.

It was evident that no one was going to help him out of there. If someone were to help him, it would be because they want to kill him themselves, and he would very much like to at least keep his dignity. He never cussed in front of children, he never hurt anyone on purpose.

Heck, he only killed cause it kept him alive, just like everyone else in this power-hungry world. The underworld was no joke. There was torture beyond human imagination, there was no mercy for the wicked, as there was no remorse for the merciful. Whatever you do, you will end up dead.

If not now, tomorrow, if not then, it will be bound to catch up to you one way or another. Just like how his parents made all the wrong choices, now where are they?

This was a world of power and tolerance. If one could not keep their cool, or bear the prospect of death in the later years, they're as good as dead.

This just further strengthens the claim, 'The world can never be forgiven, nor can it be justified. All of us are destined for damnation.'
