After laughing, they were silent for a moment.

Jane felt embarrassed at how she showed herself in front of her son and his friend.

Since they got the letter yesterday stating the exact time and place her son Lance would be in front of Jace's school, she has been feeling a myriad of emotions, the most intense being hope and fear.

She wanted to leave immediately, but her husband said they had enough time and she should sleep first. Jane would never be able to sleep, but she was taking sleeping pills for many years and was knocked out soon.

After waking up, they left and parked before the school gates, wanting to look for their son from afar.

But when they didn't spot him after hours of waiting, the time approaching, Jane could not control herself and left the car, becoming agitated.

She met Jace, but not the son she was looking for.

Now, she was in her son's home and had heard about him, so she couldn't be more ecstatic.
