Jane hadn't registered much of her surroundings, but the girl was polite, so she nodded at her.#

Terrence was relieved to hear his son having a home and such a lovely friend,

"Thank you. We will be impolite then." 

"No, you are not in any way," Paige assured him, then went woodenly to a bodyguard and gave the address.

It was not far, and considering the three of them had just met, Paige went into the second car with Jace. They both let the three take a car alone.

Jace and Paige awkwardly faced each other after boarding the car.

"Something is happening here, and you are in the picture?" Lance suddenly spoke. He remembered that the first change he noticed was how Lance treated her.

And, when Paige acted against Tasha, Lance did not react.

Lance didn't want to fight anymore.

Lance didn't want his inheritance.
