"I'm sorry." Paige said meekly.

"Mhm... you won't do it again?" Lance asked her and kissed her head.

"No, don't worry." Paige raised her head again and pecked his lips.

"Please, Paige, I can't lose you again. At least tell me when you want to risk your health." He said while cupping her face and rubbing their lips together.

"It was just an exami-" She was interrupted by his hand on the back of her head, bringing her closer for his tongue to enter her mouth. Apparently, Lance didn't want to talk about this matter anymore.

She moaned lightly, and Lance was ready to strip her to make sure she was moaning the same way she did yesterday, just to be sure it was herself-not for any other reason.

There was an abrupt knock on the door,

"Paige, are you awake?" Meier asked, the cat on his arm was losing her patience and so was he.

Paige stood up and after checking her appearance in the mirror, she went to open the door.
