110. Auditorium

When Jace looked up again and pocketed his earphones, Paige had nodded off and was drooling a little, while Lance had his eyes closed, unknown if awake, asleep, or dead.

Jace exited the car and threw the door shut with force before going to his lesson.

Paige flinched awake, wiping her mouth with her sleeve, and Lance cursed.

"Let's go." He said, and they left the car, too;

Lance walked back and took a black backpack out of the car trunk. He opened it and looked through it before nodding in satisfaction.

"My dear Paige, you are now a student who finished High school with a bit worse grades than the average. Congratulations." He held the fake certificate with her name directly in her face.

"I wanted to make you a star student, but obviously, that was declined by the military, these fuckers." He grumbled, getting annoyed again.

Paige took it and held it against the sparingly shining sun.
