2 Destroyers!

The Destroyer swung a punch, but Alex was not afraid and punched back.

"Boom!" There was a loud bang!

A circle of white ultrasonic shockwaves scattered in all directions. Sif, the closest, hurriedly raised her sword and knelt to resist the shockwave. Even so, she slid backward over 30 meters before stopping.

Wherever the shockwave passed, all the glass in town shattered. Sif, Fandral, Hogan, and Volstagg exchanged shocked glances. Was this the strength of that Earthling?

In their earlier battle, he hadn't shown his full strength. If he had, they wouldn't have been able to withstand even one move. It felt like he had been toying with them. Thinking of Alex's teasing touch on her face, Sif felt a mix of emotions.

"Hahahaha, this is worthy of Asgard's craftsmanship. It really can take a beating."

Alex felt heroic and unleashed his full power. Since gaining three times the strength of the Hulk, he hadn't fully exerted himself. In previous fights, his opponents were too weak. But now, he could finally let loose.

His blood boiled with excitement, audible as a faint "gurgling" sound.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Each punch, three times the power of the Hulk, triggered ultrasonic waves. The area almost became a vacuum, quickly filled with surrounding air. Violent air fluctuations made the battle zone look like a level four sandstorm. Dust and gravel rose and fell rhythmically with the explosions. The gravel, more powerful than bullets, pierced walls and billboards.

In the fighting area, the Destroyer occasionally spewed huge flames, causing houses to collapse and rubble to fly everywhere. Sif and the others wanted to help but couldn't get close. As soon as they took two steps, they were pushed back by the battle's aftermath.

Fandral said, "Sif, we need to retreat. We can't help at this level. Let's go protect Thor."

"Alright!"

The four quickly regrouped with Thor. Alex exchanged countless punches with the Destroyer, realizing that while he could knock it down, he couldn't defeat it. The dark metals weren't very hard, even Sif could pierce them, but they restored instantly.

As expected of Asgard's treasure trove guard, it was indeed miraculous. The Destroyer's flames were powerful, but Alex wasn't afraid. The Destroyer's body glowed red before erupting, making it easy to anticipate.

To truly kill the Destroyer, physical attacks wouldn't work. It required divine power or magic. Sif's earlier stab had temporarily extinguished its flames, indicating divine power at work. But Alex didn't possess such power.

Sif and the others had divine power but were too weak to enter the battle circle. In the original plot, Thor sacrificed himself, awakened his divine power, and destroyed the Destroyer with Mjolnir. Faced with the stalemate, Alex thought of Captain America's classic line:

"I can do this all day!"

Loki, watching from Asgard through the Rainbow Bridge, tightened his grip on the Guardian Sword. Since when was there such a monster on Earth? And helping Thor, Sif, and the others? This man had to be eliminated, or he'd pose a greater threat when he came to Asgard.

Loki smiled evilly. If one Destroyer wasn't enough, then two!

Suddenly, dark clouds gathered, the sky cracked, and the scene of the Destroyer's arrival reappeared!

The second Destroyer arrived, heading straight for Alex. Flames shot out from dozens of meters away. Just as Alex was about to dodge, the first Destroyer trapped him with its giant hands. Then, its feet transformed into hands, holding Alex in place.

Alex was shocked. Were these two Destroyers cooperating? Before the second Destroyer arrived, the first could only fight him alone.

"Bang bang bang bang!" Alex blasted away the four giant hands. But the delay allowed the destruction flames to reach him! The huge pillar of fire instantly engulfed Alex. Thor shouted anxiously from a distance, "Alex, get out of the way..."

The first Destroyer emitted flames again, creating a massive fireball that immobilized Alex. The fireball grew larger until it exploded, flames sweeping across a kilometer radius. The wood turned to coke, the steel burned red, and the town became a sea of flames.

Fortunately, the townspeople had evacuated, avoiding countless civilian casualties.

Along with the explosion came a charred "corpse"—Alex. Coincidentally, the "corpse" rolled and landed right in front of Thor. Fortunately, no one questioned the trajectory of the body.

Thor, overwhelmed, lay on the ground, tears dripping onto Alex's body. "I'm sorry... Alex... my friend. It's all because of me! My arrival brought you this disaster..."

Thor stood up and told Sif, "Let's go! You must return to Asgard and stop Loki."

"What about you?"

Thor's expression calmed. "Don't worry, I have a plan." He walked toward the two Destroyers with a determined look.

On Alex's charred "corpse," he quietly opened one eye and sighed in relief, seeing Thor walking forward. The plot was finally back on track!

When the second Destroyer arrived, Alex wasn't sure he could defeat it, but he could escape. Yet, he needed Thor to awaken his divine power to keep the story's course. He pretended to be defeated to push Thor into action.

The good friend who used to drink and fight by his side had turned to ashes in front of him. The emotional impact was immense.

No one noticed Alex's subtle move. The charred skin fell off with a little "clicking" sound. Sif, attentive, noticed the movement and casually looked around, meeting Alex's eyes.

Suddenly, their gazes locked, and the situation grew awkward.

Thor, fueled by grief and anger, approached the two Destroyers.

The Destroyer stood motionless, awaiting instructions from another world.

"Loki! I know you're watching. Is this what you want? Killing civilians, hurting innocents—what good will it do you?"

"If you want to kill, kill me!"

"Otherwise, when I return to Asgard, I'll teach you a lesson, brother!"

The crowd watched in silence. The town, filled with chaos moments ago, was now eerily quiet. They saw Alex, who fought like a monster, fall to the Destroyers, and now Thor was provoking them. Many couldn't bear to watch and covered their eyes.

Suddenly, Destroyer No. 1 swung a giant hand, knocking Thor away and sending him flying into the sky.

"Boom..."

A flash of lightning held Thor's body still in the sky. Countless bolts of lightning surrounded him, emitting a dazzling white light.

Thor—resurrected!

In the original plot, Thor was beaten until he faked his death, then was moved by Mjolnir, reviving with the power of thunder. Now, due to Alex's overwhelming presence, Thor's divine power awakened without needing Mjolnir.

Thor, the god of thunder, didn't need a hammer to command lightning.

Jane watched, stunned. "Oh...my God!"

She always thought she was imagining things, but her silly, handsome boyfriend was truly a god! Everything he said was true.

Daisy, Eric, and others were equally astonished.

Thor opened his hands, and Mjolnir, 50 kilometers away, soared into the sky. It broke the sound barrier, trailing an ultrasonic shockwave, and returned to Thor's hand with a "bang".

The fully formed God of Thunder merged into one!

Thunder and lightning intensified, making it hard for people on the ground to keep their eyes open. The clouds moved with the wind, forming a huge tornado vortex with Thor at its center.

"I, Thor, son of Odin, represent Asgard and destroy you!"

Thor descended from the sky, wielding immense thunder and lightning, aiming at the Destroyer.

In the original plot, this ultimate move penetrated the Destroyer, eliminating its vitality. But due to the butterfly effect of Alex, there were two Destroyers, changing the situation.

The two Destroyers, locked onto by Thor, hugged each other. The metal circles on their bodies layered and rotated, forming a higher, more powerful combined Destroyer!

The Combined Destroyer raised its hands to meet Mjolnir.

"Boom..."

The tornado cloud trembled, nearly dispersing. The Fusion Destroyer was beaten down but not fatally injured. The metal circles spun and recovered.

Thor was startled by the combined Destroyer's power. He rose again into the tornado cloud. Thunder and lightning filled the dark clouds, brightening and expanding them over the entire town. The tornado grew, sucking up sand and rocks.

The town, already in ruins, was now stripped bare, everything sucked into the sky. The residents, watching from a distance, didn't know whether to mourn their lost homes or be grateful for witnessing gods.

Thor descended with more thunder and lightning. The combined destroyer opened its face, spewing a flame three to four times stronger than before. Thor didn't evade, splitting the flame with Mjolnir and slashing down.

At the last moment, the combined destroyer split into two. Thor's Hammer struck the ground between them, creating a deep pit, all dust sucked into the clouds, darkening the sky.

The divided Destroyer avoided the fatal blow, attacking Thor with destructive flames and giant metal hands. Thor was forced to defend, unable to charge his ultimate move.

Thor realized that another big move wouldn't defeat the combined Destroyer. He had to use Mjolnir's agility, attacking left and right to suppress them.

Physical attacks didn't faze the Destroyers. Alex's triple Hulk strength couldn't destroy them, and Mjolnir couldn't either. Only thunder and lightning slowed their fire attacks but weren't enough to eliminate them.

The Destroyers, merging and separating, attacked more skillfully than when fighting Alex alone. Thor had flexibility but lacked offense. The battle was at a stalemate.

Jane and Sif were anxious. What now? The metal monsters didn't tire. When Thor's energy was exhausted, no one could escape.

"Hey...bastard, get up and help Thor get rid of those two Destroyers," Sif kicked Alex's charred "corpse."

Fandral, Hogan, Volstagg, Jane, Daisy, and Eric looked at her in horror.

"Get up quickly!" Sif kicked again.

Hogan intervened, "Sif, please don't do this. Brother Alex helped us. Death is important. Let past grudges go."

He thought Sif was petty, holding a grudge even after death. Better not offend her, she'd hold it forever.

Sif shook her head, kicking a few more times, "You don't understand, he's just pretending. Hey...get up!"

Daisy, with tears in her eyes, rushed over, "You're too narrow-minded. He's been burned to char, and you still won't let him go. Go fight the Destroyer if you think he's pretending."

Daisy hadn't had time to grieve. Seeing Sif kick his "remains" brought it all back.

Everyone scolded Sif, making her angrier. Alex must have seen her embarrassment and was pretending.

"Get up, Thor can't hold it anymore," Sif shouted.

Fandral, Hogan, and Volstagg prepared to pull Sif away to prevent further embarrassment.

"Okay, let's see you pretend! The man's thing is useless if it's burned, so I'll cut it off. Still pretending?"

With a "swish," Sif drew her sword toward Alex.

No one could stop her, and they closed their eyes, thinking it too cruel. Poor Alex, suffering even after death.

Just before the sword hit, there was a "pop" sound, and two blackened fingers caught the sword.

Alex sat up, the charred skin falling away.

"You were so tired from playing just now, can't I rest?"

"No!!!!"

Seven people shouted in unison!

In moments, their emotions had roller-coastered. Seeing Alex "alive" made them angrier than happy.

Alex saw their murderous looks and quickly left the troubled spot. Wearing only gold pants, he jumped toward the battlefield.

That's right, all that's left is a pair of big pants, and they're gold!
