Chapter 16

Kelly looked at Luna when she saw Luna's parents on stage. "hey" Kelly called out when she noticed that Luna's gaze was fixed on her parents. Luna looked back at her with worry and anger written on her face. "Just focus on our plan, okay?" Kelly whispered. Luna nodded and started to look around, trying to find where Samantha and her gang is. "right there" Adrien said, nodding to his right where he saw Samantha sitting with his gang, only a few tables away from them. Kelly and Luna looked at where he nodded and saw her as well.

"you know what to do lover boy" Kelly whispered, earning a glare from Adrien. He gave Luna a quick kiss before standing up. He purposely walked near Samantha's table, earning one of her member's attention. "Excuse me, big boss, I need to use the restroom," one of Samantha's members said. "Hurry up Stacy, you don't want to miss the rest of the event," Sam said in a stern voice. Stacy nodded and stood up to follow Adrien. Adrien walked in an empty hallway, making sure that there's no one walking by. "Hey, big boy" Adrien heard a lady's voice behind him as he was leaning on the wall. "Hey babygirl" he responded and walked towards Stacy. "What are you doing here?" he asked, playing his part and leaned his face close to Stacy's. "Just walking by," Stacy said in a flirty way as she leaned her face even closer. "Really now? How about we have some fun?" Adrien said as he grabbed her chin. Stacy giggled and stared at his lips. Adrien smirked and slowly reached for his knife in his pocket. "What if I said I made a little surprise for you?" he mentioned, luring Stacy into his trap. "then surprise me," she said and smiled. Adrien leaned in, but not for a kiss. He leaned his head near her right ear, placed his free hand on her mouth, and stabbed her stomach aggressively. Stacy tried to scream as loud as she can, but it came out muffled for Adrien was covering her mouth. "Surprise bitch" he whispered into her ear and smirked. He stabbed her again, but he didn't pull out the knife right after. He waited for her to stop breathing, and she did. He pulled out his knife and lets go of her, letting her fall on the ground, lifeless. "Slut" he muttered before dragging the body into the near bathroom. He then went to the men's bathroom and opened the stall where Ace hid his "working clothes" and some of his weapons.

It's been a few minutes and Samantha grew suspicious for Stacy hasn't come back yet. She told the rest of her gang to go around the place and look for Stacy. All her members stood up and walked in a different direction. "Adrien's done with his job. Time for me to shine" Kelly said under her breath and looked at Luna. Luna nodded as she got the hint and Kelly nodded back before standing up. Kelly walked towards Samantha with confidence and sat right in front of her. "And who are you supposed to be?" Samantha asked in an annoyed tone. "Someone who can make you hella rich," Kelly said and crossed her legs, leaning in on the table and stared at Samantha. "Uhuh. Well, honey, I'm already rich" Samantha said. "I can make you richer. I can help you get 100 million dollars" Kelly mentions, trying to convince her. "I'm a leader of an underground gang and I only work with people who are worth my time, and you seem like one of those people," she added, earning Samantha's full attention. "Okay, I'm listening," Samantha said as she leaned onto the table as well. "How about we talk somewhere quiet. This area seems a little too crowded" Kelly said, looking around to seem like she's actually concerned about anyone hearing their "conversation". "I know an area here where we can talk business" she added. "lead the way, Miss?" Samantha said. "Please, just call me Delilah," Kelly said as she stood up and walked, Samantha following behind. Luna saw them stand up and knew that it was time for her to do her part. "okay, just focus on your mission. Adrien is most probably in the camera room, Kelly's with Samantha. I just need to change and kill all of Samantha's members lurking around the place" Luna said under her breathe. She looked around to check if anyone's looking at her, but lucky enough, no one is. Considering that, she stood up and quickly walked to the woman's bathroom where Ace hid her clothes. There were a few women in the washroom, and they all seem familiar to Luna. She lowered her head in hopes that no one will recognize her. She walked past the few women and went into the middle stall. She quietly heaved a relieved sigh and started to change. As she was changing, she heard the women's conversation. "I heard that Crawford's daughter is here tonight," one of the ladies said. "Yeah. I wonder what she's doing here," a different voice said. "maybe she's here to apologize to her parents. She was a brat little girl before. Breaking her parents' rules and all that shit" the first lady who spoke said. "I don't really give a damn. But if she does go back to her family, I bet my ass that they will be the most powerful family. I heard that they already found her before and that their daughter seems more mature and intelligent" another lady said. "Tch, yeah right. As if I'm ever going back to them," Luna thought before hiding her dress in a duffle bag that was hidden in the stall. She wore her uniform, black mask, black gloves, black contact lenses, and tied her hair in a bun. All her weapons are in place and she's just waiting for the ladies to leave the room.

After a few minutes, the ladies finally left and Luna went out of the stall once she heard the door close. She looks at the mirror and all she could think Is that she looks so different. "It's impossible that anyone will notice who I am," she thought. She walked out of the washroom with the bag hanging over her shoulder and went straight to the camera room to put her bag down. Once she arrived, she knocked on the door first, and fortunately, Adrien was the one who opened the door. Luna walked in and dropped her bag. "Damn, I forgot how different you look whenever we're working" Adrien mentions as he closed the door behind him. He walked up to Luna and gently removed her mask to kiss her on the lips. Luna kissed back and placed her hand behind his neck to make the kiss deeper. Adrien can feel how worried and scared she is at that moment. He broke the kiss and cupped her face with his free hand. "You'll be alright. Back up will be here anytime soon" he said and locked eyes with her. Luna just nodded and grabbed her mask from Adrien's other hand. "I'll be less worried if you wear your mask," Luna said before wearing hers. "Yes ma'am," Adrien said and chuckled before pulling out his mask from his pocket and wore it. Luna then walked towards a big screen where it shows all the rooms and areas that the CCTV is recording. She saw Samantha's members in each room and in each area, and she saw Kelly talking to Samantha. "I'll start here. better tell the backups to hurry the hell up, she has a lot of members" Luna said as she pointed to a certain room that had two of Samantha's members. Adrien nodded and sat on a chair in front of the screen.

Luna walks out of the room and headed straight to that certain room. Luckily, no one was walking by as she walks towards the room. She arrived in front of the room's door. She breathes in deeply before opening the door. She walked in and closed the door behind her, making sure she doesn't make any sound. Looks like a storage room she thought as she walks around. After a few seconds, she spotted the two men, their backs facing her. She pulled two knives from one of the straps around her jumpsuit and quietly walked towards the two men. The men turned around and saw Luna standing in front of them as she holds her knives with confidence. "Hey, little lady," one of them said, obviously teasing her. Luna rolled her eyes and stabbed them both at the same time. They yelled in pain for Luna was not retracting her knives. She lets go of the knives and covers their mouth to muffle their screams. She then pulled out her favorite gun and shot them both in the head. Her gun doesn't make any sound, which is why she's not concerned about anyone hearing the shot. The two men fell, and their lifeless bodies are just laying on the floor. "Nice shot" Luna heard Adrien through her earpiece. Luna looked around the room to find the camera, and after some moments, she did. She bowed in front of the camera before getting her knives and cleaning it with a cloth that she found in the room. Adrien just chuckled, feeling proud about how strong and confident his girlfriend is. Luna puts her knives and gun back in its place and walks out of the room.

Everything was going according to plan. Kelly has successfully made Samantha unconscious and their backup has arrived to help her carry Samantha's body and placing it in their van behind the building. Luna has successfully killed every member and Adrien is just waiting for Luna at the back of the building, where everyone is waiting. "C'mon baby, we're all here waiting for you," Adrien said, knowing that Luna will hear him through her earpiece. "just hang on, One of them ripped off my fucking mask, now I'm trying not to get recognized" Luna answers back, making Adrien and Kelly worried since all three of their earpieces are connected, which means whatever one of them says, the two will hear. "Be careful" Kelly said, completely worried. Luna just hummed and carefully walked, being cautious of her surroundings. She's close to where their meetup is when someone suddenly spoke behind her. "Well, if it isn't our only daughter. Luna Crawford ". Everyone froze, Kelly and Adrien heard it. Luna just froze on her spot, not daring to turn around. "We already know it's you, sweetie, just turn around," Luna's father said. Luna gulped. "We'll make sure to harm your friends if you don't follow us you brat" her mother mentions. Luna got caught off guard and immediately turned around. "Luna! What the hell are you doing? One of us was on their way there!" Kelly said. "No, tell them to stop," Luna said. "What are you saying?" her mother asked. "huh, so, they don't know that I'm still communicating with my team. Let's play them then," Luna thought. "I know your little team is looking for my friends. Stop them and I'll come with you," Luna said, trying to seem fearless, but deep inside, she's terrified. "Luna no!" Adrien yelled. Luna was doing her best not to shed a tear in front of her parents. "I'm not letting them hurt any of you," she thought to herself. Her mother chuckled. "You really are my smart daughter," She said as she pulled out a walky-talky behind her back. "Stop the hunt. She's with us now" she commanded through the device. Luna heaved a sigh and lowered her head. "Let's go home sweetie," her father said, offering his hand. "I can walk on my own," she said and refused. "Alright then. One wrong move and your friends will be dead," her mother said before walking away. Luna followed behind.

On the other hand, Kelly fell on her knees and stared into nothingness. "Everyone, move" Adrien commanded their backup. "What about Agent 001," one of the agents said, "Move. Now!" Adrien yelled. The agents followed his command and drove away. "what are we going to do" Kelly asked, still on the ground. "First, stand up" Adrien said. "Why the hell are you not affected? Your girlfriend is with her parents! How are you not fazed about this!" Kelly yelled. "She pretended that she was talking to her parents when she told us to make our agents stop, her parents don't know she's communicating with us," Adrien said, seriousness written all over his face. "What's your point?" Kelly asked, starting to calm down. "Luna has a plan. Let's just wait for her to speak through our earpiece. Don't remove it until Luna is with us" Adrien said before pulling out his motorbike keys. "Let's go to Luna's house and wait there" he added as he turns around to walk towards his bike. Kelly nodded and followed behind.

"I trust you, Luna. Outsmart your parents," He said, knowing Luna can hear him through their earpiece.
