"Forget it”
Author eased in, the scandal of me seducing my cousin's husband was in every mouths and clearly I knew who was responsible for the rumors. Our earlier confrontation wasn't much of a pleasure, her sight to the scene of her husband handing me the roses didn't leave much of a calm in her heart.
I know for sure I would have felt the same but I wouldn't have reacted the same as she did, I was no way at fault for her husband acts and I made it clear to him on his second approach.
“I've heard you Steve, you've apologized so please take the way out as you did in” I ordered skimming in on the order that I was working on. A VIP cilent had placed in an order for her wedding that was due in weeks.
“Alice, I was stupid then but I've gotten over my stupidity and..“ he halted his lips for seconds on sight of Author ,who sat across the room with little ears to our conversation.
