the thing is that smallville is a bit less about superheroes and more about "Clark Kent" life and how affects him, the actual series has slow pace as well repeating the same clark saves someone in slow motion over and over, this fanfic is actually going fast compared to it and skipping a lot, but that's fine if you want to read the novalization of the series you just watch the series lol, on the other side, my personal opinion is that maybe Leo should be a bit more involved in the events somehow, I mean, making clark do this cave thing alone is a good thing, the two were probably going to clash when it comes to love and is actually a good explanation on why he wasn't there after all if he got involved later on clark would be blaming leo and not his powers for his failed love life, but I think there's more interesting things to explore like the relationship with Clark parents and anyone that knows of Leo's existance, the potential fear of clark not having "backup" one day if he gets used to it, etc and the solution to that issue was a bit predictable, leaving clark alone so he can fail in romance by himself and he can blame his powers once more instead of Leo

I've read up to chapter 11, and if anything this should be a Bokuben fanfic, let me explain, maybe this changes at some point but it feels like mc is afraid of meddle with kaguya and miyuki and at moments even with chika as well, I laught at some point, but just because everything remained the same as in manga, we're "told" how important is mc in kaguya and chika's life but somehow miyuki, the new guy, feels closer to them already, mc feels more connected with the bokuben characters even if he's just taking nariyuki's place, from my point of view it feels like bokuben crossover is there so mc get's support/way out when he needs to interact with the student council in any way, my personal theory is that the kaguya sama setting is there so the story has a character author wants from it, either chika, hayasaka or maybe ai hoshino since technically she exist's in kaguya sama

well batman is a good example took years to be on his level, in order for mc to actually be at the he's useful for anything beyond thugs without powers he needs years of training, is borderline wasting time, I mean if you're some kind of kriptonian? good idea I mean a fight with darkside (leaving aside the eye-beams) is a glorified dogfight, as gojo? I mean gojo is not even invincible, but yeah, you kind of got scammed

not gonna lie, never liked the use of bleach power system for fanfiction... I'm a bit of a bleach fan... and lets say is... convoluted to say the least... just the fact you are not supposed to be able to use your power in a human body is problematic enough, also the part where being a shinigami is a "power" but zanpakuto are actually just swords capable of bonding with you and can only be made by one guy, then what about ichigo? well, even ichigo's not so "forged" sword is technically just the "reborn" zanpakuto from the shinigami that became the white hollow and... just as I said bleach power system is convoluted enough to make this comment really long and kubo tends to avoid detailed answers when it comes to powers and how they actually work... if anything at times is... too abstract? bleach has a lot of "style" but is either a headache taken seriously for fanfiction or you make stuff up while handpicking what mc gets so things make some sense in a different world with different rules, I mean a zanpakuto purpose is to save souls and send them to soul society... in a world without it, and we also have the part of shinigami's being able to see ghost's, this may be important depending on the novel making the story harder to write at times if a character is supposed to die later, not to mention powerscale, I mean guessing how strong is aizen at the end of the story is hard enough... but I guess is just my really long opinion...

Is an interesting novel, but events happen a bit too fast tiamat was just a speedrun pokewaifu catch and I just don't like the catching waifus like pokemon part, I mean, he "got" tiamat just because, and I get the idea, Its supposed to be around and "slowly fall for mc" but for me is the begining of the issue since right after mc gets 3 wives from greck pantheon and there's no time for tiamat from now on, you may think "she will still be there so we have more time right?" yeah... divided in 5 since now we also need to grow fond of 3 new characters asap and since we're thousands of years before dxd events and author said asia will be part of the harem I think this issue's ending will be a waifu army I don't care about since the only one with enough exposition for me to care will be lilith and maybe tiamat.

other pantheons were made already and some of those weapons are important to most pantheons so those probably existed already, but to be honest, a multi-pantheon world is already convoluted enough and is not even author's fault, there's simply no way arround it since dxd is already like that.

for me the part that hits hard in a bad way is that kirito is not even a name, is a nickname made ouf of the true name of mc from sao (kiri)gaya kazu(to) no one should use it as a name, besides I belive characters are the ones that make a name a "legend" I mean "Might Guy" is not precisely a good name is basicaly a pun, but if saw naruto the name Guy has a different weight for you, so at least for me naming yourself kirito is cringy in in two different levels
