It seems like you need a reality check. There's an editor at the magazine company precisely to provide advice or opinions to artists, regardless of how much of a legacy the MC has. It's not feasible for MC to publish manga on their own, and you wonder why artists like Oda, Kishimoto, Kubo, and others use Jump as their publisher? That's because, no matter how much money they spend, they can't match the reach of magazine companies like Jump in distributing their manga. Do you think just because MC's manga is famous and other companies want to print it, no one in the company will question MC's story? LOL, companies have the contractual right to terminate and sue the artist if it's in the contract.
