Well, take the loss to foster friendship. I don't think they would have taken kindly to him insisting on taking the wood for free =w=
but the people who do that don't usually aren't acting all shy and demure, you know? =w= casual flings are a thing, yes, but this interaction is written like 'my first romance' but they've only been together for a few hours
A single room apartment is commonly referred to as a studio, at least here in the US
I think it's mostly just a difference in what people would judge a 'bad' person to be. For me, I would agree that, with what is shown, she's shallow and narrow-minded, at most. I wouldn't judge someone 'bad' unless they were actively and unreasonably acting against another person's well-being.Looking down on MC doesn't really count as 'bad' in my book since it doesn't really affect him in any way. Like yeah, that's kinda rude, but I haven't seen enough to judge her as a bad person, yet.
Yea, this is pretty much par for the course for Chinese novels, unfortunately =w=;
actually it was mentioned that 4th prince was crown prince's full brother, others were prolly with concubines so I'm guessing that's how he knows.
well it was a long while ago, but I remember I had ascended to the immortal realm. after that there were so many systems and stuff, i eventually dropped it cuz it got too confusing =w=;
Haha, yeah. Honestly, I always get confused with all the different cultivation realm names, so I just used the ones from the game since I played it =w=
I think he's referring to it more in a general sense than to these manipulation skills, specifically. like how learning how to draw would also help in learning how to paint, or how playing basketball would also improve your general performance in other sports.
science is just the study of the rules and laws that govern the world. in this sense, cultivation, or comprehending the Dao, can be considered a type of science :)
Fair enough. I like the characters as they are, at the moment, but I'll probably go back at some point to see if the plot feels forced, and what can be done to fix if necessary. As for the system, it's kind of an integral part of the plot, so I don't think I will be able to change that, at this point. Thank you for your feedback. =w=
How would he go about that, just start randomly planting medicinal herbs and eat them until one of them cures his rare, incurable neurological disease? Since this is a Chinese cultivation novel, of course that's what's gonna happen, but if the rules of the universe weren't so convenient he'd find this very hard to do xD
doctor who reference?
