Actually, he was happy to see that man. Because in the past, he rarely see other people (real people from outside world) except his own team mates. And don't forget, he just fought a dragon monster recently and killed it. With this mindset, he hasn't entirely accustomed to his current state, and doesn't see that new guy dangerous (underestimating the guy since he is just a lv 0 inmate).

about getting out, he will get out by the end of the story, but that end will reveal another conflict in the real world, and a new story with different concept will be introduced at the end. It will be a fantasy without system, because it's no longer in a simulated world.

it has been explained before, his stat of intelligence is more about his insight and wisdom, and all the information he has gained during his previous take on the trial. This will be like an experienced gamer who creates a smurf account and then restarts playing the game from the beginning. Similar to the situation of story when someone dies, and goes back to the past. Conclusion, Zack's intelligence (his experience) plays the most significant role in this story.

it's a no sex story, cause the system prevents them to do so. But it doesn't mean there won't be any feelings between characters, and that's the real struggle for the characters. Those who love will be tested if their love is solely about sex or not. All the character's real characteristic will be revealed because of the trial they undergo. So, the term of the story more about character develpoment, and morals. this is more about survival, existence crisis, and moral (the premise itself is about criminal who undergo trial to gain their freedom). Some of them believe they are really criminals, and justify killing people. Some believe they are not criminals, and keep their moral compas, keep their heart pure, keep the love they have to others while keep questioning the real meaning of them getting such trials. I can't explain everything cause it will spoil the entire concept of the story.

The narration is top notch, a great way to deliver the dark nuance. The premise of the story is also interesting. I like the skeleton-san the most, he is such an interesting character. I know character like him won't appear too often at early on, but I want to see him more.
