Honestly, I would've asked the same question if you hadn't clarified it's single FL. The MC seems well aware of Maya's intentions, yet he continues to engage with her. It's puzzling why he entertains her advances despite knowing she's not just seeking friendship. In a hypothetical movie adaptation, Maya might even overshadow the female lead in screen time and how close she is to the MC, potentially leading to confusion for viewers. It might be easier to categorize the story as a harem, given Maya's prominent role and unclear characterization.

It’s puzzling why there’s still debate over whether this will turn into a harem. With the introduction heavily skewed towards female characters, it’s clear trouble looms for those averse to harem novels. While a story tagged as such provides clarity, in scenarios like this where females outnumber males, the narrative could be vexing for non-harem enthusiasts. The protagonist will inevitably have ambiguous relationships with these ladies, even the landlady isn’t exempt, my simple advice is don't read it if you don't like Harem novels😏

Harem or one fl?

Pretty hard to come across a decent novel to read so I will give you 5 stars for it.

At chapter 70 but I will put this on hold since I don't want to waste my time reading a novel with more than one love interest. Even 1 and a half-love interest is a BIG NO for me. I will be back after you have decided.

Honestly, what are the tags doing, I mean if your novel have a harem elements then add the tag and change the misleading title. Even if I read this for 1 minute it's still my previous time wasted there. For me regardless of how great a novel is, it is no no for me if it is a harem.

Overall, it is pretty good, I recommend the author's common sense for not throwing a bunch of men at the FL like ants fighting over a piece of sweet. I just feel she got money way too easily after she took possession of the body but with a system from a world with advanced technology, it can be overlooked. I'm at chapter 64 so the rating is based solely on that, if I read the later parts and realize the author losing track of what is to be expected established in the beginning chapters the rating might drop.

I'm just wondering on what criteria people rate a novel 4 stars and 5 stars. I guess I have to understand different people judge things from different perspectives

I don't like FLs being schemed against but for once, I just hope Tang Ming got drugged or something and ended up having a one-night stand and then got pregnant with a mysterious and that the kids will be the exact photocopy of him. I don't like Si Cheng for the ML, mmmm I think the man Tang Ming called on the program will do hehe. Unfortunately, I have a feeling the author is going to mess up my perfect imagination.
