Yeah, the reasoning is completely stupid. Completely ignored and moving on... Quite pathetic tbh. Author's thought process is very often flawed in his novels. Sometimes simply foolish.

I did read a part of it. Did not see yuri yet, but the MC is unbearable, and the story is very cringe in itself. I don't recommend anything this guy writes... tried quite a few and dropped every single one for most of the same reasons.

I mean.. there'a ambiguous s3xual tension created with his mother.. If the direction is not that, then what's the point of having such developments in the first place? Feels random and pointless, as most of the novel itself.

It consumes that much because he is using an incompatible technique. He's basically only at 1/5th of his potential... And stubbornly insisting on it without putting any thoughts..

MC's mentality is quite bad tbh... He has 5 elemets body, but focuses on a single element, completely neglecting the rest. Then, he stupidly avoids improving his offensive moves, which would help him greatly. Nothing like Han Jue, he is quite dumb and indecisive.. The type who gets killed with 1 mil years of lifespan in the bank.

The novels with OP MC aren't successful, since you eliminate the progression and major part of plot, so no, i don't. But if you want an OP MC for his level, read My Elf System and Primordial Harem System. Those are decent enough.

Really stupid, and annoying. Using the excuse of trauma, he acts as if he's gay instead. At least he could put some thought into it instead of trying to act cool
