I don't know much compared to those who have Read Marvel comics.. i just have read too much Marvel and DC fanfictions and facts.. sure.. u can always give your mc a wake up call whenever they think life has become easy just cuz he got little power ups and others.. and i don't know about the ghost rider plot and pretty much I don't like mc who depends on external source for power.. it's just my personal opinion.. again would Peter be immortal? I think you can use Peter intelligence which is compared to other top Class scientist to make him create some serums for himself and his lovers.. and yes please don't Nerf him cuz there are countless cosmic beings and other supervillain who can kill easily but rather slow plot, filled with action, drama, romance and adventure and ofcourse special powers much better
