If I remember correctly the witches made an immortality elixir that created the immortals which were then used as a sort of template for the original and regular vampires, so I guess it shouldn’t have to be a vampire, unless I’m wrong ofc

That opening sentence made me think you were dropping. That aside, the story and world building is amazing and I quite liked how the slug club conversation went and was structured. Superb work!
