Alright, this is the second woman introduced in the story, and both women had suffered/currently, allegedly is suffering physical abuse. What's up? Are we doing alright? I'm just asking before the third pops up, signaling a pattern. Unless, of course, the third that gets introduced hasnt been abused. It's just odd to see such a thing brought one after the other like that. You might want to put a little warning. I've seen relationships like that. Both parties get triggered in some way when reminded of it. Unless there was a warning, and I just glossed over it.
In the past her only boyfriend before his father came along abused her and in the last beating before he was arrested. He beat her so badly it ended up damaging her ability to conceive.
