_KON2 days agoBalas aMzThis is just how I interpret the idea... "Humanity" is just certain qualities that make us human. Becoming something more or less than a human takes some of those certain qualities away, and then it becomes hard to really call you a human anymore. Mortality would be a big quality of ours. To give an example. Alucard/Dracula from Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate. He hated that Anderson gave up his humanity, becoming a monster, for more power to fight against him. He wanted a human to slay him.
