As well as Hope Summer's teacher and the leader of a team consisting of X-Men members and Avengers. The phoenix force increased his abilities. Particularly, his senses. You could say he has a better version of Assassin Spider's arachnofrequency. He can get a vision of the danger, where it is, what exactly will happen and will just know what to do. [When I say it aloud, it sounds just like Assassin Spider's sense but I'm sure it's stronger. For one, his powers are still growing so his future sight will grow too. For another, he's powered by the phoenix, so his sense must be stronger in some way we're just not seeing] Last i left the story, he had beaten Red Skull who had experimented on the Late Charles Xavier's brain (Charles who had recently been killed by Scott Summers when he had phoenix force powers) and got some kind of telepathy to influence people and make them hate (or increase their existing hate) mutants and after that, he convinced the hateful people to try and change with a speech that would make Captain America proud. And he was proud. Because he was there when the speech was delivered. I wonder if the story has updated.

Because i'm not gonna lie, having a hero team made up of his friends his age sounds great. Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, Harry Osborn, Felicity Hardy, Johnny Storm, (possibly Angelica Jones (aka. Firestar) and Bobby Drake (aka. Iceman)) would be a good team. Kind of like Young Justice. Starting off young, then growing up to be the best.
