I know this is seemingly a small point, but the previous conversation all took place in the Sultan’s room after he came in through the window, so how come he can teleport outside of the Sultan’s bedroom? Isn’t he unable to teleport to places he hasn’t been before?

I assume you mean candelabra/sconce not chandelier. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling, while a candelabra/sconce is usually on a wall or connected to a wall.

Why isn’t he allowed to keep the entire corpse of the Basilisk? They killed it right? That’s almost equivalent to a different Alchemist claiming that the potions he made were their invention and not his, and they should therefore get all the money from their profits.

I feel like this plot point right here is going to get be the excuse for why he doesn’t have enough points later in a subsequent chapter.
