Not dropping but... A writer's block is a real thing, that I can tell you 😞
Ringo... Gringo...Dingo... Bingo? Could you find a worse name?
The father isn't impulsive, he is meek, holds back, cowardly and keeps silent as his family gets bullied.
The side characters are lacking in intelligence ego the point that they think like 3-6 year olds. I think this was the only way for the author to create antagonists, which would indicate his lack of skills as an author. I'll give an example, the Yang family lord has two sons, his eldest son and his youngest son, his youngest son is the father of MC. meaning that the manor Lord is the grandfather of MC. Both the eldest son and youngest son are innate level 3, however because the eldest is slightly more talented than the youngest, the manor lord favours him greatly and completely ignores his youngest, meaning that the MC and his father is not only completely brushed aside, they are harassed by the manor lord and his eldest son. the eldest son of the manor lord gets all the credit for the youngest sons work, and why? because the eldest son has the most talent... but even with that talent, both reached inmate level 3.... so what's the difference? who knows? There is no real reason for conflicts, they sound like three year olds who fight over nothing, the author had to do this to create some kind of suspense in the story but this only leads to frustrations because of lack of intelligence.
The author really had to make these people completely brain rotten to have antagonists. this shows how little skill the author has in writing if he can only make villains by making them as smart as a 5 year old. innate level masters are elites of the Yang family, the manor lord is a 5th level innate. to lose his son who is one of the innate level elites, and be totally okay because his eldest son is a bit more talented... I don't know if the Yang family is retarded or if the author is.
(Sigh) Calling your own D a "treasure" well she is in for a "big" surprise.
What you on about? At the start of the story he was lazy and never cultivated, his parents had to nag him and force him, being worried about his prospects since he was lazy
