Movies

Aurav rubbed his chin as he looked at the long list of <Nurturing> functions. Any and all forms and types of energies were being utilized. Even emotions such as greed,wrath,sloth,despair,madness etc.

These energies could potentially nurture and influence any and all forms of objects and creatures. It was completely overpowered however,there was a catch: credits.

'Although,the <Game Eye> seems overpowered but I need to put in a massive amount of time and effort to access these benefits…'

'Whatever,I'll just choose whatever's in my price range...it's not like I have any other choice.'

<Frost Hold>

'Although,it's cheap but it'll just keep her in a state of suspended animation with no hope of recovery. I need something that gives her a chance to recover no matter how small…'

<Blood Nurturing> and <Flesh Womb>

'Both of these aren't even an option...who's going to feed her flesh or blood cause I sure as hell won't…'

Aurav grimaced as he told the <Game Eye>:

'Filter out the {Functions} that are too expensive'

Upon this only fifteen {Functions} appeared. Most of them needed to be supplied with some sort of resource which he wasn't able to provide. This only left him with two:

<Flesh Root>

-This {Functions} converts the flesh into roots sucking nutrients from the ground like plants. However,it cannot absorb sunlight. On top of that its rate of nutrient absorption varies. Nonetheless, it is one of the rare few self-sufficient nurturing {Functions}.

'Hmm...this seems good. On top of that it only needs 2500 credits but that should probably be because of the non-consistent nutrient absorptions rate. I should check out the other one as well.'

<Flesh Moon Chrysanthemum's Blessing>

-This {Function} creates moonlight absorbing flowers using the host's body as a medium. However,unlike the <Moonlight Nurture> it is starkly inefficient. It not only requires nutrients from the medium itself but uses 83% of the moonlight in order to maintain its flowers and reproduce. The surplus moonlight is deposited within the medium in order to nurture it.

'Well…..this one needs a 2000 credits...which one should I choose…'

As,Aurav was considering the pros and cons of both choices an, idea flashed in his mind as he thought:

'Wait...what if I used both of them?'

'<Flesh Root> could deposit nutrients within her body while the <Flesh Moon Chrysanthemum's Blessing> could use these nutrients and nurture her with moonlight…'

The more he thought about the better the idea seemed. Aurav was smiling from ear to ear as he was thing of how much of a genius he was...until he realized:

"Shxt!'

'I don't have enough credits…'

'Right now,I have 2780 credits but I need 4500 in order to buy both <Functions>...'

'I need 1720 credits…which means I need to infect at least 172 humans.'

'I can do that easily but before that…'

Aurav bought the <Flesh Root> and turned his head towards Saira.

About twenty white strings had emerged from her dress. They were advancing towards her severed head.

Similarly, fifteen or so tiny little strings had emerged from her simple headband. They were barely visible as they wriggled around similar to tiny tentacles.

Slowly, the 'dress' strings reached her severed head. First,they wrapped around both her ears circling around them a few times before they reached her headband and wrapped around the tiny tentacles.

The scene looked similar to a grape vine wrapping around tree branches. Aurav stood there with a gaping maw.

"What the f*ck!?"

A few minutes later the severed head was lifted up by the strings as they set it on her severed neck.

A chunk of flesh at her neck had been clawed off but it seemed inconsequential to the string as hundreds of thousands of string emerged wrapping both the head and the neck forming a pure white laced veil covering her neck, chin and nose.

A similar veil descended from her headband. It twisted and turned as it formed a laced pattern before covering her eyes.

"Wow...to think a single <Function> is capable of something like this….what's going to happen when I combine two <Functions>..."

"No,actually it's going to be three if I include <Blood Enchantment> as well…"

There was a curious glow in his eyes as he looked at her. He looked around the cabin and as he saw the four Zombies who were evolving.

'What if I gave them a particular <Function> for each of them?'

He shook his head as walked out of the train cabin.

'I'm literally broke right now... '

He looked up and saw his subordinates surrounding the train cabin.

However,this perimeter formation seemed very odd as there were two Zombies standing back to back. One faced the front while the other one faced the train.

Why did he do this?

Ever seen a cheap 90's movie where some gangsters subordinates are looking in front like idiots while the hero sneaks in from behind them and beats them up or just straight up goes into the boss's room while he's in bed.

That wasn't going to happen to him at the very least.

'Who said you can't learn anything from movies?'
