"Alright enough scaring the new Loose Screws", Beck enforced.
"Tch, I was just having a little fun Becky, all fun in games," Lenix explained.
"Don't make me put the mouth thingy on ya again, I'd really hate to do that."
"You and I both know you won't."
Ignoring him, Becker pasted another smile on his face.
"Okay! For breakfast this morning we're having pancakes with sausage, yogurt, and apples on the side. The alternative is cereal. We have Frasted Flokes, Froot Loops, Captain Crunchy and Cheer Rios, take your pick! "
Becker paused and looked around the room to see if everyone was paying attention to him, they were, so he continued.
"For those of ya who are new, go to the app store on your watch. It normally is installed on the second tab of your watch. Once in the app store, go to the search bar and type "Dining" and the Dining Room app should be in the top results."
Auo had some difficulty with completing the assignment and he sighed, irritation evident on his face.
"Let me help," the boy next to him said.
He reached his left hand over to Auo's left hand and quickly downloaded the app.
"There. Would you mind doing mine?"
"Sure."
The boy held out his left arm and Auo began typing in the search bar. As expected "Dining" was at the top of the list. Underneath it was "Database" and that was all that showed up for the letter "D".
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"What's your name by the way?" The boy asked.
"Auo Ju. Yours?"
"Marcus Kensley."
"Nice to meet you, but not under these circumstances," Auo replied.
Marcus laughed and then turned to face the curly headed boy and girl.
"What are your names?"
"My name is Ahira DeGalio," the girl said softly.
"I'm Ni Kawling," the boy stated, running his left hand through his hair.
Becker clapped his hands together.
"Have ya guys downloaded the app?"
"Yes…" They all said in monotone.
"Great! Now launch the app. Once open, ya should see the word 'Breakfast' and the time next to it. Under that ya should see the menu. The menu has the dietary information in case ya wanted to know. At the bottom of the screen you should see the word 'Next'. This will lead ya to the options. Click on the option that you want."
Like before Marcus and Auo helped each other. Auo was starving so he told Marcus to choose everything he could pick. On the contrary Marcus chose cereal, Froot Loops, as a simple meal.
After a few minutes Becker spoke.
"You should all be finished by now. Lets chow, eh? Oh waiter!"
Out of the kitchen came waiters and waitresses . Each wore a white blouse and black bottoms. The women wore black crimped skirts like Satsu Ri's and the men wore black dress pants. All waiters carried two platters filled with three plates in each hand.
In a matter of minutes the food was dispersed and the mood seemed to be lifted, temporarily that is.
Auo had a stack of pancakes, two sausage patties, an apple and a bowl of cereal sitting in front of him. Everyone besides Marcus ordered pancakes and they dug in promptly.
At first they had some difficulty eating with their left hands but after some trial and error they finally succeeded.
The pancakes were soft and seemed to melt into one's mouth. The syrup wasn't too sweet and it didn't immediately soak into the pancakes. The sausages were spicy and packed with smoky flavors.
This wasn't a grab out the box and pop it in the microwave meal this was homemade.
Auo scarfed down the pancakes and inhaled the cereal while the apple lay staring at his face. He was full and he felt guilty for wasting food.
"Does anyone want my apple?"

Breakfast had ended as soon as it had started and the metal chairs unlocked the patients from their seats.
Auo stood from his chair stretched, rolled his wrist and rolled his ankles.
He felt much better , not as constricted.
"Breakfast is now over, doors to the Dining Room will now unlock. Administrators please locate your patients and escort them to their rooms." Carly said.
'Administrators? Are they not soldiers?'
Auo looked over at Marcus and he looked just as confused as he was. He then glanced at Ahira and Ni and saw Ahira with her head down, her hair covering her face and Ni scratching his head.
Becker gaily walked over to Auo's table and gave everyone his famous warm smile.
"Ya three", he said pointing at Auo, Marcus and Ni, " will be in room 112. Ahira , you will be with Mosco, he's the one with the bandana as a mask. Okay! Follow me!"
The three boys walked out of the Dining Room and back into the 120 meter hallway.
"How'd ya like breakfast?"
"It was good." Auo answered truthfully.
"That pancake had to be fake. What pancake doesn't soak up syrup?" Ni complained.
Marcus laughed.
"The cereal was pretty good you should try it next time."
After a few minutes of walking the four made it to a room. On the outside wall a golden plaque had the numbers "112" engraved. Becker pulled out a key, inserted it in the door handle and opened the door.
The 400 square foot room contained two bunk-beds that gave a walkway in between. The bunk-beds were of top quality. The same cherry wood was used and the mattress was soft to the touch. The walls were an Irish cream accompanied with serafina maple wood floors.
On the left side, an oak wood desk with a glass top lay between two built in pine wood shelves and a small leather based stool was placed behind the desk.
Separating the room from the bathroom was a wooden bifold door. The bathroom was even better. The walk-in shower sported porcelain tile and next to that was a free- standing white bathtub. A two vanity sink lay a few feet away from that and the floor was an orange granite tile.
'This room is quite beautiful..'
"I'll get ya guys some sheets and covers. Do ya guys have your schedule?"
"No," Auo answered.
Beck sighed.
"Do ya have the message app downloaded?"
"No," the three of them said.
"Go to the app store and type in 'Message', it should come up as the top result. While that's downloading, type in 'Phone' as well. I keep telling corporate that the app should be downloaded already but they don't listen to a dark skinned Australian."
Auo didn't know whether to laugh or cry, even in an institution geared towards "mentally ill patients", racism still existed. To keep his mind off the injustice he downloaded the app and explored the interface.
It was like a regular phone's interface.
"The plus sign in the corner tap that and type in Becker Cauldron, I should pop up."
Auo did as he was told and just as he said Beck's smiling face covered the screen.
He then pulled out his Minc phone.
"I'm sending it to ya three right now."
Ting!
The message showed in a little speech bubble and Auo could see the preview of the message. Clicking on it Auo grumbled internally.

"I'll get ya guys some sheets and covers till then stay in your room, don't wander off anywhere ya will get in the kind of trouble ya don't want to be in."
He gave one more smile to the group of boys and walked out of the room. He started whistling a tune and then disappeared around the corner.
