The Begining of New Life

On a unknown planet somewhere deep within a huge dark cave full of life was a race called Zeth'na. They are hive minded, spider and mantis like crossbreeds, with alien features. They are not similar to each other cause of a racial skill called [Devour]. These critters can have the benefits what they eat. It means for example, if they eat something that can fly, they have a chance to obtain that flying capability. They reproduce through the [Queen], it has [Royal Guardians], who defend her, [Workers], who involved in logistics and home building, [Hunters], [Warriors], for food gathering, defending the hive, and [All Rounders] who are extremly rare in their race like the [Royal Guardians]. Lastly there are the [Hatchlings]. The [All Rounders] are good in every aspect equally. These critters hatch eggs, but not like any normal insect type of creatures, the [Queen] produces eggs in every season, and every month, but on every month's first day. It is a celebration for them. The hive is most caring about their little [Hatchlings], they dont eat them, and the little ones do not eat each other. It happened so that this very day, is the day of the hatching. Every shell broke but two.

[Royal Guardians] commanded the [Workers] to guide the newborn into the food storage next to the hatchery. The last two eggs started to hatch. The first one tought:

"-Where am I? It is so dark here. Something is blocking me from all sides. What is this green thingy in front of me."

He started to claw his way out of the prison of his. The crystals of the cave shone with colored light, somewhere blue, green, yellow, and red. When he saw something already out of the broken shell, next to him, he got surprised. The Zeth'na next to this little critter was smaller than him, but surprisingly energetic and a little clumsy. She sped up a bit, and bumped in him, almost pushed in a hole of water. She would not hurt her own blood she just wanted to play around a little. "-Can we play a bit please?" said the little one. "-Sorry sis, not now i am dying of hunger. Find food first then we can play as much as you want." "-Yay you are the best." As they begin their search, a [Worker] saw them and started to guide them to their precious food. There was quite a number of corpses. Bipedal, quadrupedal, winged, aquatic etc. The little newborn who wasn't so energetic looked at the corpses but found one interesting.

[Cahe Centipede] it's carapace is stronger than a lot of hard material on this planet. Our little one tried to eat it from the outside, but he could not because it's hardness. He got tired, and went to the centipede mouth, tried to find a way in, as he got in the stomach of this creature, he started to eat it from the inside. "-It is so delicious." all the while his sis got a bipedal creature to chew on. "-Hey big bro taste this thingy it is so soft and melts away." She munched on a [Stalker]. When he finished eating, the [Devour] started to work, he fall asleep just like all his brethen around him. They changed, formed. Some started to grow wings some got electrical energy and there was even some who grown horns.

The last to evolve was the two of them. "-My carapace it feels so light, and so strong." "-Brother I am so afraid, my legs shrinked and just puff disappeared, I too can disappear, but my legs won't come back." He laughed and said "-Don't worry i will be here with you, and I think you can start to learn walking with just two legs. She almost started to cry. From there they could eat only one thing, and that is what they ate first.

That was a rule in the Zeth'na, till you grow up to 5 months, you can just eat what you first ate. Till the next phase they hibernate.

5 months after the birth you start hunting. The [Workers] teached the little ones to everything. Traning, their own grammar, and everything they needed to learn. (yes they can write too, they leave clawmarks on the cave wall, or on stones, or anything)

The first hunting came. "-Lets see. What are the meaning behind this green window thing." tought to himself the lil critter.

"-Wow this is so usefull, i didn't even knew i had [Venomous Glands], hey sis you got that green window thing too?" Asked excited the little one. "- Yeah I got it too. Are you curious about my stats?" "-Yeah why not?"

"-It is pretty awesome we have these." Said the energetic one. "- I heard that after this hunting of ours, the [Queen] will see all of the newborns. It will be interesting to see her." Said the toughtful lil critter. Some [Hunters], and [Warriors] went with them, to protect them, if something happened. They arrived at the cave entrance, and the hunt almost began.
