Two Weeks

{Kid, having the whole system unlocks all of its features, but you only have us two. Of course, we need some authority to nurture you.}
[Level 20 is the something Master must achieve at all costs. If I were alone, maybe even if I level up to 60, you won't unlock more than the Library and the Function Interface.]

[That was his, and this is mine, possessing some of his authority. We are not divided equally, so maybe, we have some parts of us on the others too.]
{Makes sense. For now, let's focus on the subject at hand.}
"And that subject is?" Zion asked.
{To unlock the Store and the Special Quests.}
"Store? Special Quests?"
[Master, please refrain from asking more than what you should know. In time, you will make your advancements and your answers.]
"That'll be fine then."
Zion sighed and just continued on looking at the horde before him.
In truth, if he was to use all his power, he can kill everyone in this forest in one attack, but he knew that destroying this forest is like destroying the world.
After all, this forest has resources too.
And this forest is the primary shield of people against the Crystal Forest.
{Do you want to know a secret?}
"Of course! Who doesn't want one?"
Zion answered like a flash of lightning: quick.
{Those boars are devoid of elements. Their cores have no more elemental affinity after you killed them.}
"And so?"
[When cores start to lose their elemental affinity, their souls start to lose it's hold onto its body.]
{And when that happens, it will weaken, making it easier to control.}
"By using Necromancy."
Zion said as the black arrow on his left hand started to glow.
He then walked over to a corpse, and knelt down.
His left arm touched the carcasses and a ghastly bluish aura came out.
[Undead Energy.]
[A type of Special Energy that can be used as a core. This energy controls the dead to be used by the owner.]
As soon as Gateway stopped speaking, a series of notifications popped up from his eyes.

Commands a dead corpse to become an undead and be used for the army.
Specifications: The command you will use will be the name of the Ability.

Zion looked at the ability.
If used right, it will be an overpowered one, but for now, this ability is still weak due to the subjects that can be used for this ability.
That's not a basis for the name, but for him, the name will be used in the future, so he might as well think of something grand.
Something unusual. Something original.
With that, his left eye shone with darkness, and in it, ghastly bluish tendrils appeared.
The color is a blue sky, but is covered with dust and smog. The blueness is light, but the ghastliness is overwhelming.

Two weeks since Zion left to herd the beasts towards Pentagon City Academy.
This two weeks were also the weeks where Niana met their opposition.
Inside a room, there are four people.
Lee Roy, who was destroyed a little while earlier.
Big Axe Mike, who was also defeated miserably.
Mr. Turcan, who was threatened by the Princess.
And the fourth one, is Imelda Ramsay.
"Since we're all here, let's cut the chase. Star Fire store is gaining more and more fame. It won't be long before they overthrow other businesses."
Lee Roy started hurriedly, clearly taking the sympathy of the others.
"Yes, we have to stop them from growing! We have to make them pay!" Mr. Turcan chimed in.
"Joseph, it's rare to see you flustered and frightened. Don't tell me that they have that kind of power now?"
"Imelda, it's not just them, I was also beaten by one of their storekeepers." Mike decided to speak this time.
"Since you are that afraid of them, I'm afraid we have to use underhanded tactics." Imelda stood up and pulled out the belt she got from Zion.
The belt has been useless since she got it, and she also tried so many things to acquire it, but it won't even identify her as its master.
Without anything to do with it, she then decided to use it as a bargaining chip, but, for now, she had to know what's inside this thing.
For all she knows, there is a space compartment inside it.
But, that's only one of her tactics.
"Bring me Nico Oregon. Tell him I have a job for him."
After saying that, she felt a large energy that not only rocked her soul, but also frightened her that she fell down the floor.
The other four aren't exempted from this.
After a moment, it disappeared, but one thing was certain. A movement is happening.
"Send me Nico, fast." She shouted.

When Aultocrey felt the energy, a sudden feeling of foreboding came to him.
"Find Iubert. Tell him about this." As soon as he said that, a shadow flew out of the window.
"I hope that he is an ally." Aultocrey said, closing his eyes.

A thousand miles away.
In an island, a city stands alone. It is a small country, but is made up of people that are strong enough to topple down powerhouses.
An old man basks under the light of the sun.
After the energy surge, he opened his eyes and turned towards the place it happened.
"Is it time for that to appear again?" He said as he pondered.

On the other side of the planet.
A large floating city can be seen above the sea.
It was artificially made, and divided into eight parts.
Metallic parts can be seen anywhere, and it is a pretty much big island.
This is the Rothean Fortress, one of the three fortresses that roams the world.
These fortresses were built after the First Calamity ensued. And now, the Rothean Fortress is under the state of confusion.
In a certain place in the Rothean Fortress.
Eight people are sitting around a circular table.
These eight are the ones who are the heads of the eight institutions in the Fortress.
The Adventurers, Merchant, Blacksmith, Pharmacist and Array Guilds.
The Rothean Fortress Academy.
The Rothean Army.
And the Rothean Fortress President.
"That energy signature. We all know what that is." An old musky voice said as he leaned on his cane.
"Luthera and Sunoria already has one of that kind. We must acquire it before they can add another one in their ranks."
"The Gods have smiled upon us. Right now, we are the nearest fortress from the source of the energy."
"Let's go! We can arrive there inside a year. The others are too far away and would take more time than us."
"Set course! Right now! We don't know what they will do in time. We must capitalize on this advantage we have."
And so, Rothea set off towards the source of energy.

Back at the Star Forest.
After the ghastly blue energy vanished, Zion then looked at the corpse in front of him.
The Hook Boar now, is standing, but a deathly air is around it.
Aside from that, its eyes are ghastly blue, and its skin and flesh appears rotten.
"Wow, this is new."
Zion looked at the boar. He felt a certain connection to it, but it was meager and weak.
[Assign an element.]
"What?"
[Assign an element to the Undead Boar.]
When Zion saw this notification, he was shocked.
{You can assign any element you know to the boar. At the very least, it will gain a skill from the said element, and will be very helpful to you.}
[Another thing is, this may mutate or evolve on its own. Giving it an element do not just strengthen it, it empowers the Undead.]
"Hmm, that's a bit messed up, but I guess it will be worth it."
He then put his hand on the head of the boar, and thought of the element he wanted.
"Ice."
After a minute, nothing happened.
The boar blinked it's eyes and looked at him, perplexed. It looks like a baby boar who just came out of its mother, trying to embed this memory to its brain.
Zion looked at it and pondered. Before he can ask a question, Gateway sent him a message.
[To assign an element, gather a bit of mana of the element and say the command.]
"Oh! So that's why."
Zion said, slightly embarrassed from what he did. After that, he heard Admin sigh, but decided to ignore it.
He then again put his hand on the head of the boar, collected a few ice mana particles on his hand, and spoke in a soft voice.
"Awaken."
The boar, trying to understand what's happening, froze in place, as its body began recovering.
The rotten flesh became frozen with ice, and the tusks that were like hooks became icy white.
Its eyes that was originally ghastly blue now had a cornea of cyan, almost blending to the color of its eyeballs.
Black pupils appeared on each cornea, and the eyes was filled with power and mystery.
Its fur became icy white, while the hooves were became cyan in color.
[Undead Ice Boar Lv.1]

- rampages and freezes everything that its hook touches.
"Not so overpowered but I think it's enough."
Zion mumbled as he walked towards another corpse. This time, he already accumulated fire mana before he commanded.
The result was same, but it's definitely easier this way.
Another thing he observed was that the boars are more intelligent than the ones he killed. He concluded so as the Undead Fire Boar stood beside the Undead Ice Boar as if they are waiting for him to finish.
After almost twenty minutes of doing this, he came with an army of almost a hundred elemental boars, all lined up in their respective elements.
Spark Boar, Wind Boar, Stone Boar and Water Boar.
These six types of Undead Boars now stand in front of him.
"All right, let's get more of you. Remember, don't dismantle their corpse, I need them intact."
The boars nodded and Zion smiled at them.
'Maybe I should kill that python and give it an element so it can be so sure to follow me all the way.'
Zion thought and nodded to himself.
From miles away, the python felt a chill on its body. Being cold-blooded, it is almost immune to chill, but now, it felt the chill right through its soul.

Shrieks can be heard from the forest as boars were dying left and right.
Zion now have a Level 2 Class Necromancer.
