Clearing a Labyrinth

Due to Vin's Talent: Stride, killing the enraged Nina is a walk in the park.

Her core was a bit shaky too, and when she popped out of the plane inside Vin, she is also a ten year old kid like Saeri.

"You won't be lonely anymore." He said and Saeri nodded.

Nina, who appeared inside the plane, was confused at first, but she saw Saeri and she smiled.

She knew that Saeri won't betray them, so she trusted him and made a choice.

A choice to trust the teen who defeated her in her Primal Form.

Vin, who suffered in the hands of Saeri, reversed the situation in Nina's scenario.

There are many things that led Vin to win fast against Nina.

First, the psychological. He first made Saeri and Avalon take rein and talked to Nina for a bit. It was a blow to Nina as soon as she saw two important people to her.

Second, the physical. Vin had trained for over a month just to do this mission. Also, he trained more than the other had trained. The greater the risk, the greater the reward.

Third, the tactics. Vin now has Stride, along with the runes, inscriptions and Vacuum. These four may not be of any help, but it is made by Vin, so it became more what it can do.

All in all, Saeri helped him a lot. Saeri discussed all of each and everyone's strengths and weaknesses to Vin. They strategized, made plans and all of it lead to the abduction of Nina.

Nina, like Saeri, are indispensable people in the Labyrinth. While Nina incurs tantrums and care, what Saeri does is envy and smiles. The two of them make everyone happy, but the loss of them made the others on edge.

Saeri, who knows all of these, even if they are already four hundred years with each other, won't forget how everyone treats one another.

And he knows exactly why did they become berserk in front of pure energies. Although he doesn't know all the informations, he knows where the problem lies.

"Bubble Choir!" Vin said as more and more bubbles appeared in the battlefield.

"Vin, count me in!" Zaine shouted as she ran towards Vin.

"Consider yourself lucky, little lady." He said as they teleported to one place.

"You ready?" He said as he let out a pure strand, and lured every beast away from each other.

Although they are conscious, the pursuit of power is stronger in them. They wanted more and more of what they are being drowned upon.

All of them ran, but one. She became alone as the others ran and chased some strands of energy.

"I guess Saeri is right." Vin said as he fleeted around the lady. The blindness is still on effect.

"Damn you! Coward!" The lady shouted.

"Coward? I think me versus all of you is a bit unfair, so I am make pickings. Luckily, you are the first one to win the draw lots. Congratulations!" Vin clapped and it earned the ire of the lady.

Suddenly, black balls with a size of a ping pong ball was released to the surrounding. They travel in unbelievable trajectories and speed, but Vin evaded them all. The lady then used her skill to make the balls split into four smaller pieces.

It is bubbles versus balls this time.

"That is a good one you got there." Vin said while dancing in the air, evading the balls.

The lady then followed his voice and even blind, she actually scraped Vin's cloth when she jumped and pinched him. Vin was surprised at first, but not for long.

A blade suddenly stabbed the lady, but she blocked it with her scaly arms. Sonorous sound was heard when the two clashed, and the stabber landed, fleeing.

When Licht felt that she can't win against the two, she knew that the option is to flee, but for some reason, the one that attacked her flew off.

Zaine, who was listening to Vin's orders, hid meters away from them, so as to create confusion. Vin then kicked Licht on her stomach, and then was sent the opposite side Zaine flew off to.

"AAAAAAARGHHH!" A furious bellow was heard, and the other beasts that Vin lured away suddenly heard it.

This time, it is not only them who is on their Primal Form. Licht, who is not affected by the magic in the bottom floor, now chose to do it because she was toyed by two humans.

"Now you can harvest them at ease." Saeri said in Vin's head, which in turn he nodded, agreeing to the said statement.

"Licht is someone who looks out for us, so take the others out first, and then harvest her last. It will make her angrier, and more reckless. An easy win." Nina said, sounding more like an adult now.

"Now that's a plan." He said as he also flew away from the scene.

"First target: Chad. He is a pillar of the Guardians, and one of the best fighters. Defeating him means the largest thorn in your chest is gone." Avalon said to him.

Vin flew up and jumped beside Zaine, who was now hiding in a bush. She was startled at first, but then, Vin sealed her lips with a kiss for her to not make noise. His hands are a bit in awkward position, because when he jumped, he landed feet first so putting it on Zaine's mouth is a bit forceful.

The bush was shaken for a bit because of the movements of Vin, but it was silent after, and they are just at the back of Ezra, the Spider of Void.

A long kiss is what happened, their breathing softened and then the lock was finally unlocked. Breathing out, they managed to smile at each other and they were immersed in their own world.

"Ahem!" A voice startled Vin out of nowhere. He knows the voice so he knew it did not come outside.

"Avalon bummer. We are just getting to the exciting part!" Saeri and Nina said in chorus.

"I guess that's that." Vin whispered to Zaine as he tread looked outside the bush.

Zaine blushed from ear to ear, but she just nodded as she doesn't want to embarrass herself more. She seated and got ready. A bit forced and a bit shy, she hid herself and so her presence.

When he saw it, Vin then made use of the plan. He used his own version of Vacuum Palace, to imprison Ezra.

Inside, Ezra can't use mana to fight them, only brute force and wits, or so he thought.

Silently approaching, he used some mana strands to lure Ezra into his Vacuum Palace, and shortly, Ezra is almost a meter away.

He was going to cast a Vacuum when suddenly, a thick substance was sent to his way. It was sticky and white, and there are some blood in it, hinting that it made a scratch on Vin.

Vin then maneuvered around and hid behind trees, out of the spider's sight.

Vin's cheek, the part that was scraped, is bleeding non-stop. When he touched it, the fingers that he used to touch the wound also bled.

"Is it possible like this?" Vin was startled.

He knew that he can put a mana attack on his weapons, so he do it, but adding a mana attack to another mana attack is just mind-blowing for him.

"Copy."

[Copying...]

"Nice!" He said as he jumped over from tree to tree to escape Ezra.

Ezra felt that something was scanning her, so she tried to fight it, but was unable to do so.

She was scanned all in all, without any restraint.

This is the result of one of Vin's new Ability, Incorporate.

He can use his Law while using any ability, skill or talent.

Instead of Copying the Skill or Ability, he Analyzes the attacks so he can make use of it in the best way possible. He also made an analysis on Nina and Saeri.

All in all, he got some new moves on them.

Like for example, traps.

It can be in a form of trees or what, Vin can now make illusions, traps and tricks towards others due to plasma by Nina and nature by Saeri. It's a bit if work though.

Vin knows that it may ba a flop due to his inexperience, but he tries it sometimes.

Like now.

He uses some tree branches, put some plasma inside and throws it away, making it a bomb. It is not that easy, but it is reliable for the mean time.

Hop, throw, explode, stride, evade, attack and round and round.

[Thread Magic Unlocked.]

"A good addition to the line up." Vin smiled as he learned the basics of the Thread Magic.

Little did he knew that he will be coined as the "Tailor Magician" in the future.

But that is a different story.

So basically, Thread Magic is the advanced form of Strands. It can line strands up and make threads out of it. It is a small unneeded strand at first, but by using Thread Magic, he can Weave and some strands and also, Skills and Abilities.

After he got the Thread Magic, dealing with Ezra is a walk in the park. Thread versus thread, magic versus magic.

"Metal Thread." He said. Four threads came out.

"Stride!" He shouted as he jumped, rolled, and somersaulted. The threads then entangled each other, and as he laid his trap, Ezra felt that the adversary right now is battling her in her prided field.

Threads are the "Crown" of the Queen of Spiders. No one is as elegant and graceful as her in using threads, but now, someone is using her profession against her, in a crude manner.

It wounded her pride, and her sanity went away. As she ran towards Vin, he then made a bubble, as small as a pebble.

He ran around, jumped from tree to tree, and then he uses Stride to get away everytime Ezra will fire her web at him.

Fifty meters.

This is the distance between him and the traps he laid.

Ezra fired a web at him, and then he dodged to the right, but another web was fired at that place.

He made a maneuver and hit a tree nearby, causing him to roll on the floor and then he jumped up and rushed towards the trap.

Forty meters.

Ezra then projected herself forward, leaving an afterimage behind. She dashed and then used her two front legs to pin down her assailant, but her prey is agile and managed to come out quickly.

Vin also dashed forward, wanting to arrive at the trap as soon as possible.

Thirty meters.

Vin made use of his thread and tied it to two trees in front of him. He then dashed diagonally, anchored his arm on the tree, then he circled the tree.

His foot felt the thread, and then he used it to boost his speed.

Ezra then jumped to attack him again, but unfortunately, she just cut the string and the person is far away from her.

Twenty meters.

Vin used the momentum and Stride as he travelled the air. Using Mana Rush, he doubled the speed.

Ten meters.

His silhouette passed through without any resistance. He then threw the bubble behind the threads he laid.

And then he used Stride to heighten his altitude. At that moment, Ezra arrived near the threads, and then a plop was heard.

The head of the Spider Queen, rolled down the floor. Her body is motionlessly lying on the floor.

The core then was fished out by Vin, and then Ezra appeared inside the plane.

"The guillotine worked." Vin said as the threads are continuously vibrating.

Function: String Guillotine.

He then went to where Zaine is, and then another surprise came to him.

All of them, including Von, managed to get out of the Vacuum Palace.

This is where the tables are turned. The hunted become the hunter, and the predator became the prey.
