Gojo's POV

[Text from Alexis.

Why didn't you come to watch? It was awesome, I won the duel in one turn and Arahime made her debut!]

Wiping off lipstick marks from all over my body with a clean towel.

'Of fucking course, she won.' I rolled my eyes as I closed my phone after reading that text. With the Mikanko deck it's simple to OTK in this world.

There is a big change that might be coming in the near future, particularly news about Kabia's proposal to increase starting life points to 8000. This has sparked a lot of controversy, with discussions about the necessary laws that need to be passed for this to become a reality.

Well, Kaiba first wanted to test this change by implementing in Duel Academy Island to collect results and data before deciding. Well, honestly I was a bit surprised to see this news. Hopefully it doesn't change to 8000. As this still seemed to be a side project on hold.

~

That very few days after Alexis's duel, I received a summons for an 'emergency meeting' from the chancellor himself. The meeting was to address Banner's disappearance and… the matter of me dueling the spirit key holders, which had been put on hold for some time.

I'm not going to delve into the details, but it was a heated discussion since the chancellor was pissed while I was nonchalantly explaining myself that it was not a big deal since the concept of summoning anything related to God cards has to involve 3 cards in order to summon it properly.

That's basically the biggest weakness on God cards. I'm not sure if these sacred beasts have immunities, but I was willing to bet they didn't. Another important thing to note is that they have the divine attribute (Anime world).

All in all, this meeting was pretty much useless. Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, Syrus and Chumley went around the whole school exploring the potential possibilities of finding Banner somewhere in the island after finding out there were no logs about him leaving the island.

They did manage to find his cat, Pharaoh, but it quickly made its escape from Chazz's attempts to hold it down.

To our great surprise, at some time late at night, the island began to rumble, and flashes of bright white light in various rainbow colors enveloped the island. Before long, somewhere on the island Seven pillars simultaneously rose from the ground.

***

"Oh, my me. About damn time." I muttered as I glanced out of my window at the mesmerizing lights.

'That probably means Banner died.' I sighed as I watched all the flashy lights disappear leaving only a solitary green one in the middle of the island.

As there were more continuous rumblings going on I decided to head out to see what the fuck was going on.

~

As I arrived at the… site around the outside of the pillars that was when I heard a helicopter arriving quickly on the site. And out from the helicopter they dropped a giant bizarre human encased in a sealed water tank or something.

Chancellor Sheppard, Crowler, and the entire relevant characters were already here investigating the event.

By the time I reached the scene, they were in a conversation with the mysterious individual who was in the water tank, holding a Duel Disk with determination in his eyes.

"It's Kagemaru! Our superintendent!" Chancellor Sheppard shockingly said.

'Wow… never heard of him.' All of the students synchronicity thought.

'Lmao.' I internally laughed at the thought.

[Really makes you wonder if this place is even safe to begin with.] Dark Magician Girl telepathically said with her eyes narrowing as she observed the individual who had retrieved the three Sacred Beasts cards that had emerged from the source of the green light.

As I opened my Gate of Infinity, preparing to aim for a headshot, Dark Magician Girl voiced her concerns telepathically.

[Husband, can't we find a solution other than killing?] Dark Magician Girl sighed, showing her unease.

[Are you willing to let your friends see you take a life?] She raised a valid point, and I hesitated just for a moment before replying.

[O, I could momentarily blind them with the golden lights from the Gate of Infinity, and then...]

As Dark Magician Girl popped out in spirit form and stared at her husband, her bright green eyes filled with a mix of concern and disapproval.

[Husband] Dark Magician Girl interrupted, her voice firm. [No. We can find another way to handle this.]

Though I wanted to argue, if it was an evil spirit, she wouldn't hesitate to eliminate evil spirits on sight. I decided to keep those thoughts to myself and continued walking toward the group. There was no need to put myself up sleeping on the couch, after all.

***

As I approached the group, Kagemaru expressed his gratitude, "Although the method of unlocking the Sacred Beasts was a bit unexpected, it was certainly welcome. I have to thank you, Satoru Gojo. You made it so much easier to unlock the Sacred Beasts!"

Everyone turned to look at my arrival, their expressions a mix of concern and surprise.

"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever. Are we dueling or what?" I readied my Duel Disk.

"Perfect. I was hoping you would come so I could challenge you. Otherwise, if you were to refuse, I was going to sink the island." Kagemaru responded, eager to duel.

"Wow, Kaiba ain't going to like that one," I whistled as I drew my card, and Kagemaru followed suit.

"Duel," we both declared, starting with 4000 life points.

***

"Oh right, you want this a shadow game or not?" I asked with a smirk.

"Mhmmm? I have no need for that since I have these Sacred beasts cards with me. You will lose after all." Kagemaru laughed.

"Right, right." I nonchalantly replied. [This one is delusional.]

~

"Oh, great Gojo is dueling, might as well pack up and call it a day." Chazz got up and picked up his bag and started leaving.

"Chazz isn't wrong." Bastion laughed while smiling. "But this is going to be interesting to watch though."

Alexis, Atticus, Chumley, Jaden, and Zane all nodded and smiled. This piece of shit of a person was the only person who was undoubtedly the strongest duelist in the academy, and perhaps in the world.

"Well, I hope you guys are right," Chancellor Sheppard sighed. "Who would have thought he was the mastermind all this time?"

'And Kagemaru is also using the three Sacred Beasts cards. He probably has a deck that can support it too. Just how meticulous is he?' Chancellor Sheppard wondered.

"Well, I know he won't disappoint," Alexis smiled. Her Duel spirit materialized and gave a visible nod of agreement.

"Man, I would have liked to duel." Jaden sighed.

***

"You were going to be next if Gojo wasn't up for it, brat." Kagemaru replied to Jaden, his eyes gleaming with greed at his Dueling spirit.

Kagemura started and drew a card on the first turn.

'Did I miss something? I didn't know you could draw on the starting turn,' I watched in disbelief.

A/N: I actually did not know you could do that in the anime.

Trivia anime god card effects. Honestly this is just an example.

Obelisk the Tormentor

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, Spells, Traps, Spell/Trap effects, and the effects of non-DIVINE monsters cannot be activated. While face-up on the field, this card is also Warrior-Type. Your opponent cannot Tribute this card. Control of this card cannot switch. Cannot be targeted by, or leave the field by, the effects of Spell/Trap Cards and non-DIVINE monsters, except by its own effect. Other card effects are only applied on this card until the End Phase. This effect cannot be negated. During the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned in face-up Defense Position when an opponent's monster declares an attack, OR if exactly 1 monster you control is targeted by a card effect that could of targeted this card, that attack or card effect now targets this card, instead. During either player's turn: You can Tribute 2 monsters; apply 1 of these effects.

* Destroy all monsters your opponent controls, and inflict 4000 damage to your opponent. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.

* This card's ATK becomes [infinity symbol here] (Infinity) until the End Phase.

Slifer the Sky Dragon

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, Spells, Traps, Spell/Trap effects, and the effects of non-DIVINE monsters cannot be activated. While face-up on the field, this card is also Dragon-Type. This card's original ATK and DEF become the number of cards in your hand x 1000. When a monster(s) is Summoned face-up on your opponent's side of the field, OR when your opponent takes control of a monster(s): That monster(s) loses 2000 ATK or DEF, depending on its battle position, then if its ATK or DEF is reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it.

The Winged Dragon of Ra

This card cannot be Normal Summoned except by Tributing 3 monsters (you cannot Set this card). The Normal Summon of this card cannot be negated. When this card is Normal Summoned, Spells/Trap Cards, and other card effects except its own cannot be activated. If this card is Tribute Summoned, its original ATK and DEF become the total respective ATK and DEF of the Tributed monsters. You can change the Battle Position of this card during the turn you Normal Summoned this card. While face-up on the field, this card is unaffected by other card effects, including the effects of "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "Slifer the Sky Dragon". If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard:

* This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. If your opponent controls no monsters after this effect resolves, it can attack your opponent directly, even if it has already attacked one or more times this turn.

* If Summoned in face-up Defense Position when a monster your opponent controls declares an attack, you can change the attack target to this card.

* It is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase.

The following effects may be activated at any time of the duel:

* Pay all but 1 of your Life Points to increase this card's ATK and DEF by the total Life Points you paid. You can also Tribute all other monsters you control to increase this card's ATK by the total ATK of the Tributed monsters.

* By discarding 1 "De-Fusion" during your turn, or sending it face-down to the Graveyard; gain Life Points equal to this card's ATK, then decrease its ATK and DEF by the total Life Points you gained. If you use this effect when this card declares an attack, negate that attack.

* Pay 1000 Life Points to destroy one monster your opponent controls (negating any effects which would prevent it being destroyed) except during the Battle Phase.

A/N: My father recently underwent surgery in the stomach and groin area (it was a success). I have to go on hiatus, so I have time to help him around. This might be the last chapter for now.

This is more of something I wanted to put out before I have to go.

It might take a month or two. I might even come across writing a chapter for either of the fanfics if I come across some spare time.

Until next time.
