A few weeks have passed since the official match.

Whenever Alexis is free, she comes by my room a lot more often every day and even cooks for me. Apparently, she spent most of her summer in a cooking class learning how to cook. As expected, women belong to the kitch—. Ah, I got smacked by my wife for even thinking about that.

Right, the media entertainment in this world is lacking asides the technological aspect; there aren't many social media apps and we are in that era where everything is still wholesome on the internet. It's extremely rare to see trolls on the internet. That also means there is nothing worth looking at on the internet.

Well, at least it's not getting boring anytime. With Alexis we can probably start a cooking channel together as a side gig. Dark Magician Girl was a bit moody from time to time whenever she came, having us pause on what we were doing most of the time, but she was starting to get used to it.

These days I still keep getting mails about joining the 'the society of light' that seemed to be specially tailored for me and this time they attach a weird ass mother fucking tarot cards. If I knew any better this is a goddamn cult, in a Yugioh World, that probably wants to destroy the world. Whoopy Fucking Doo. Now, normally I would just go ahead and kill whoever is in charge of this bull crap on the spot.

But Dark Magician Girl wants me to do it… in a standard procedure, through card games. Now there's a lot of problems with that. Because this guy can probably pull a shadow game. Meaning if I want to get rid of him it would have to be through card games which is a pain. But her next words blew away all of my hesitation. She has a bad feeling that this cult is extremely dangerous, and she doesn't believe that even Jaden and the others should confront them.

'A gut feeling, got it. Then I will believe her.'

That means I will have to personally take care of this. But as I examined the content of the letters from the oldest to the newest, I noticed that with each subsequent letter they send, it seems to be getting more and more polite.

Well, at least they know what kind of person they are dealing with. So, they are the main antagonists of this time aren't they? I couldn't help but sigh about that now. This one seems a little bit smart.

This morning, I heard my bedroom door creak open. As I slowly opened my eyes, I heard the curtains being spread and the window opening to let in some fresh air. Alexis came in to wake me up, as she does every morning, since the start of the second year, even though she practically knows everything about dueling already. I'm not sure why she bothers going to class. Really just sleep in for once!

Another thing is that I'm always naked with Dark Magician Girl under the blanket. It really makes me wonder why Alexis keeps doing this morning routine.

"Wake up, sleepyheads. It's morning!" Alexis called out.

"It's 7 in the fucking morning, on a weekend." Gojo grumbled as he reluctantly got out of bed, ignoring Alexis's stare. He didn't care about hiding his appearance as this was his room.

"Breakfast is ready." Alexis announced without looking away, her gaze lingering on Gojo. She had a slight blush when she watched him but that didn't shy away. Her heart throb a bit as she stares at his full naked glory.

"I'll freshen up first." Gojo replied casually, sauntering off to the bathroom without a care in the world. He was being grumpy first thing in the morning.

Meanwhile, Dark Magician Girl, feeling the loss of warmth as Gojo left, slowly woke up, emitting a sleepy "Fweh?" sound.

As Gojo reached the bathroom, Alexis took the opportunity to share some news about Jaden and the others. "There's a freshman duelist causing trouble," she explained with a cool tone, briefly closing her eyes to calm herself. "He's been bullying both freshmen and seniors, even going as far as taking their duel disks when he wins. He even defeated Syrus!"

"Skill issue," Gojo immediately called out, unimpressed, when he heard Syrus got beat.

Dark Magician Girl yawned as she got up and followed Alexis and Gojo. They didn't even bother closing the bathroom door behind them.

"The bully was beaten when Jaden went to face him, and they got back Syrus's duel disk. But now the bully is crashing in the red dormitory and just chilling," Alexis sighed, as if they had missed out on an important duel.

She then explained that Jaden and the school bully surprisingly hit it off as friends.

"So, it wasn't that serious of bullying then. And Jaden made a new friend too? Nice," Gojo remarked as he turned on the shower.

"Yeah, but this duelist is pretty strong!" Alexis carefully chose her words to catch his attention.

"Oh?" Gojo turned his head to look at her, but now Dark Magician Girl joined him in the shower, and they didn't bother closing the curtain.

Alexis grinned and continued, "Tyranno Hassleberry. He's a Ra Yellow student and uses a dinosaur deck."

Gojo nodded, mentally making a note of the information. 'Dino deck, got it,'

"Hey, Alexis, want to join in?" Dark Magician Girl chimed in, her tone playful as she gestured invitingly. With both hands, she gently massages Gojo's back, a relaxed smile on her face.

"No, I am good. I'm heading out soon to meet Jaden and the others. I left breakfast on the table by the way, so make sure to eat it. But I still have some things to say." Alexis replied, her gaze shifting away from the scene.

"You see, I'm not really liking what Crowler is doing now," she said, reaching into her oversized purse and pulling out a dress, holding it up to herself. "He's using us to promote his career and fatten up his wallets. Can you imagine me wearing this? We needa put a stop to him." It was a formal crimson dress.

"We?" Gojo raised an eyebrow. "Well, I kind of get where Crowler is coming from. Now that he is a Chancellor and all."

"But you look very sexy in anything you wear, Alexis." As Gojo glanced at Alexis. Her long, flowing blonde hair cascaded down her back, and her captivating hazel eyes sparkled with intelligence, giving her an undeniable charm. Her slender figure, accentuated by curves in all the right places, drew his gaze irresistibly—Oh wait a fucking second, he is seeing through her clothes.

Rolling her eyes at his comment, Alexis folded the dress back into her purse.

"That dress you're holding is a bit lacking," Gojo continued. "If you want something better, you should definitely check out the wardrobe."

"Huh?" Alexis was a bit curious, so she checked them out. But inside the wardrobe was basically an assortment of provocative outfits and costumes, much to her dismay.

"...and you want me to wear these?" She asked, squinting at Gojo.

"Yes, only for me." Gojo shamelessly answered with a smile.

Normally, she'd swiftly shut down such a crazy idea. But this was Gojo she was contemplating. Alexis found herself weighing the pros and cons of the situation. He had saved her numerous times and even her brother. Not only that, but he also even used all his savings to help build her new deck. Doing him a favor didn't appear to be such a terrible idea after all. Then there was that talk with her parents…

A mini flashback brings us to Alexis's break spent with her parents.

Alexis's parents conducted a thorough investigation into Gojo's past a long time ago. Their findings revealed that he was an orphan, no permanent residence, family ties, or financial support. Yet, despite his humble background, Gojo's talent in dueling attracted attention from renowned figures such as Kaiba, the King of Games, and even Maximillion Pegasus, the game's esteemed founder.

During this period, Kaiba was in charge of the professional dueling scene. He put Gojo in the same group of top duelists as Aster Phoenix, who was the best professional duelist at the time. Pegasus himself had acknowledged and recognized both Gojo and Aster, adding to their prestige. This served as a solid foundation of credibility for Gojo who had never appeared in the dueling professional scene.

Despite his ranking, Gojo stayed out of the pro scene, which interested Alexis's parents. As time passed, his popularity dwindled and faded from the dueling world. However, instead of viewing this as a setback, they perceived it as a golden opportunity. Because Gojo was enrolled in Academy Island at the same time as their daughter.

Yet, Gojo's status as a top duelist remained shrouded in mystery. Outside the Big 3 (Kaiba, Yugi, Pegasus), few had witnessed his skills firsthand—or so they believed. (Nobody in this world knew it was all orchestrated by R.O.B.). Gojo remains a mysterious figure who has never truly revealed himself, except for his presence on Academy Island.

Alexis's parents saw in Gojo the potential to elevate the Rhodes family's prestige and thought this was also a perfect opportunity to snag a top ranking duelist into their family. He seemed to fit their criteria perfectly, with his connections, potential, and skills as a duelist. However, knowing their daughter's nature and the likelihood of her developing a relationship with Gojo, they regretfully abandoned the idea—until fate intervened.

The first time she returned home from winter break, she excitedly told her parents about her acquaintance with Gojo, the top ranking duelists in the world. Their reaction was beyond what she anticipated. Alexis's revelation of her acquaintance with Gojo reignited her parents' interest. They urged her to pursue a relationship, convinced it would benefit both her and the family. Alexis, initially resistant, unconvinced by her parents' enthusiasm, and refused the idea of going out with him.

As Alexis returned home for summer break, her worries about Gojo only deepened. Throughout the summer, thoughts of him consumed her mind, especially since he hardly responded to her messages in the group chat or DMs. Ironically, it was Gojo who had introduced the idea of using group chats and DMs with everyone, yet he rarely utilized them himself.

Feeling troubled, Alexis eventually decided to talk to her parents about her worries regarding Gojo. She explained how he had willingly spent all of his DP on her, her brother, and some of her friends, while keeping nothing for himself. He even used his connections to help them. The craziest part was that he even 'risked his life' to save her brother and her. This selfless behavior left Alexis quite concerned, as it showed both kindness and stubbornness on Gojo's part.

Her father, with a gleam in his eye, after hearing the words 'using his connection' and proposed a bold idea: "Why not date him? That way, you'll have every reason to look after him. He lacks real-world experience due to his background. He needs someone like you." Her mother, equally enthusiastic, chimed in, "I wouldn't mind him as a son-in-law." while giving a little playful wink to Alexis.

To show their support, they canceled all arranged marriage meetings with other affluent suitors for Alexis. Instead, they arranged for her to attend a top-tier cooking class, enlisting the expertise of renowned chefs from around the world. At first, she didn't understand why she was taking the cooking class, but Alexis decided to go along with it. The thought of cooking for Gojo didn't seem like a bad idea at all, especially when her parents brought up the suggestion.

Truthfully, Alexis wasn't entirely sure what her parents were thinking. Discussing it with them still brought a smile to her face. The idea of a romantic relationship with him, which once seemed impossible because of her ambitions and goals (also her love and passion for dueling), began to appear more possible. After all, even Dark Magician Girl had given her approval in a private conversation, suggesting they could be sisters.

"I'll think about it. I'm going out first." Alexis said quickly, her voice tinged with a little shyness.

??? Gojo couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Did Alexis actually agree? What the fuck is wrong with her? Is she feeling guilty or something, thinking she has to do this? If that's how she sees it, then maybe I do deserve it. Gojo couldn't believe what he was hearing.

I turned to face Dark Magician Girl, who was cheerfully humming a tune as she gently washed my hair. She seemed to support this unusual relationship.

"Take care on your way out!" I called out as Alexis closed the bathroom door.

[Never knew Alexis was chill like that.]

[She's so cool right!?] Dark Magician Girl chirped.

[Yeah, I will have to agree with that.]

On her way out, Alexis noticed a pile of letters on the living room table. Out of curiosity, she chose to see what was inside. She raised an eyebrow as she started going through them.

'Obelisk White? Society of light? Why have I not heard of it? And why would Gojo be holding onto these invitation letters? Suspicious, I should check it out later.' Alexis thought for a moment before leaving the room and taking one of the letters with her to look into further. She grabbed her bag and started heading towards the Slifer dorm to check up Jaden and the others.

After showering, I returned to my room to change before joining Dark Magician Girl to eat the meal Alexis had prepared. Once we finished, I tidied up and took care of the dishes.

The food she prepared was what you would expect from a normal human. I can appreciate the effort she's put into these dishes. Though expecting a foodgasm from simply eating this seems a bit far-fetched. Honestly, I could have easily gone to the cafeteria and requested the chef to cook me something. Or I could have gotten something good to eat from my Gate of Babylon. But since this is something Alexis made, I wouldn't want it to go to waste.

After hugging my wife, I set out to the red dormitory, where shits get active. Dark Magician Girl floated in her spirit form beside me as we chatted along the way.
