Your world is our world?

This is a story about a wolf... Well she's actually a Werewolf who only knows the life of a wolf. Until now. When she turned 18 with no mate, she was kicked out of her pack. This is their pack law. If she survives a year on her own she will be able to come back, since she will then be of some value. But wolves are not supposed to survive on there own. It's up to her how she goes about living, either blend in with the humans or stay hidden from other packs. Choosing to live among the humans she is greeted by an arrogant guy and his friends. Who she defiantly doesn't try her best to blend in with other humans, when they are around. Can she keep her secret or will she find herself being hunted down? Or maybe there's another question that needs to be answered. Who is this arrogant guy?

Chapter 8: A long night

Walking back downstairs, I walked over to Neo.

"You are going to take this off me before we go into college tomorrow? Right?" I asked with concern, but it took a while for him to respond. Waiting patiently for him to light up a cigarette, he then slouched down into his seat.

"You look fine with it on, I don't think it matters." He finally said and turned his head to face me. I rolled my eyes. Climbing over the arm of the sofa, I sat cross-legged also facing him. It felt like a starting contest at first but then I spoke up,

"Put yourself in my shoes for once you ungrateful fool, would you want to go into a public area with a stupid collar on? Hm?" I asked raising my eyebrows. He just shrugged at my attempt at reasoning. I really want to chew off his head and spit it out.

Feeling frustrated again I could feel the fire inside me start to grow. I sighed knowing I needed to calm down. Instead of fighting for an answer. It was clear he wasn't going to change his mind. So I gave up.

"Wake me up when you got food." I simply said falling forward, I changed my position to a comfortable one, my feet against the arm of the sofa, and my head near his leg.

Neo's POV:

In a matter of seconds, she was asleep. I knew she was the red wolf from 3 weeks ago, I've been tracking her ever since. Thanks to CCTV and the fact I have easy access to everyone's information.  I let the smoke pour out from my mouth and it filled the room. With her around, I might even be able to find that too...

Feeling a slight pressure on my leg I looked down seeing that the wolf had taken my limb as a pillow to rest her fat head on. I narrowed my eyes. Quickly picking up her head, I moved off the sofa before I dropped it. I was expecting her to wake up but she didn't. Getting my jacket from the cloakroom, I then took a bottle of beer from the fridge.

"I'm not cooking for you." I mumbled as I opened the front door letting myself out before locking it. I'll give her the option of dog food or getting her own food. I decided to take a walk to the shop since I need food for myself and after what's happened today, I needed a drink.

Lar's POV:

Rolling off the sofa a loud bang followed, waking me up. I opened my eyes quickly looking around. It was now dark outside and no lights were on in the house.

"Where did he go?" I asked myself. I could no longer sense anyone here. But for some reason, I had a bad feeling.

I knew he would have locked the door but maybe there was an open window somewhere. Walking upstairs I was right, as I could feel a cold draft from a room. Opening the door I walked in. It smelt of him and the bed hadn't been made. This was definitely his room, but I continued my way over and nudged the window open more, squeezing through it and stepping onto the roof.

Peering over the edge it was quite high, in my human form I would hurt myself. Going back inside I walked out of his room and threw my clothes off for the second time today. Changing into my wolf form I went back through Neo's room and out the window.

I noticed before he had a swimming pool that would be safe to jump into, then jumping on the ground when I have an injured wrist. All I have to do is jump near the shallower end... I hate water... But once I was happy with the direction I was jumping from I ran and leapt. A massive splash created waves  that went over the edge flooding some parts of the garden. Oops.

Swimming over to the steps I walked out shaking my fur. I have a thick coat but I could still feel the bitterness of the wind as it blew through my fur and onto my skin. Ignoring it I started running down the side of the house and followed the faint smell of Neo. It felt like I was running for quite a while until I heard some sort of commotion coming from an alley. A dark, shady ally at that.

There weren't any cars on the road or many people either. But by this point, all I could smell was fumes of strong alcohol and drugs that were starting to numb my senses. I wasn't going to go down there since I couldn't smell Neo's sent. But when I heard punching sounds and swearing. I had a sinking feeling, a feeling that told me it was him. If he really was down there and wasn't dead by the time I got to him, I would kill him myself.

Idiot.

Neo's POV:

On my way back from the shop, I was downing another bottle while carrying a bag full of shopping. I went the same way back home, through the shady ally in hopes to find some old drunk guy or someone easy to beat up. But I hadn't seen anyone not until now, when I saw where they all were.

I knew it was strange not to see any old drunkard but this was not what I expected. A group of black werewolves had just finished playing with their meals. They hadn't eaten the now-dead men, just killed them violently. When they noticed I was there they looked up at me. There were a total of 4 of them but only half were in wolf form and the other half in human form. The two in wolf form looked young.

"Ohh it's you, long time no see." A man said. I knew who he was, he was a Beta, now an Alpha. Not to mention the one who I wanted dead. I scoffed at his presence.

"Yeah, so what?" I spoke and the man laughed coming out of the shadows and into the light from the lamppost.

"You have grown with quite an attitude kid. Poor boy." He said in a patronising tone. I clenched my hand that held the bag.

"Oh! What do you think about my new clothes? I think they suit me well. It's not like those men will need them anymore." He chuckled to himself but I scoffed.

Dropping the bag I walked up to him and punched him in the face. Dodging his attack, at the same time I smashed my bottle on the floor. Standing back up straight I stabbed the broken bottle into his stomach. He fell onto the floor, I knew it wouldn't last long but I had to get away. They would kill me. Unfortunately, luck wasn't in my favour as the other man in his human form started swinging punches in my direction.

"You...F*Ck*NG B* ST*RD, HOW. DARE. YOU. HURT. OUR. ALPHA!!!!!" He shouted at me and with every swing he took at me a word would fall out of his mouth. It was getting harder to dodge his moves so I jumped back to create a bigger gap between us. My brain was working overload to figure out what to do next, but the beta-alpha's friend suddenly stopped at an unfamiliar sound. There was an extra growl coming from somewhere but it was deeper than what the younger wolves had been doing.

Don't tell me she's here.
