Chapter 50 :Wedding

THIRD POV～

 In a room where rhe lights are dimly lit a man tied to a chair is shown with tears streaming down his face.

 He looks at the woman standing before him unable to utter a single word while Serene stands there starring straight into his eyes which terrifies the man.

 ''You see I hate it when people lie to me'' Serene tells the man and brings out her gun twirling the object around her hand and looking back at the man who is shivering with fear.

 ''Oh don't worry I won't kill you''She tells the man whose tense body relaxes''Yet''She finishes to which he immediately becomes tense.

 Her face bare of any emotion she walks towards the door and the man tied to the chair cannot help but thank God she is out of the room.

 ''Take care of him but don't kill him''She says before walking down the hall and outside the warehouse going to her car and driving off.

 Driving towards the hospital she walks towards her sister's hospital room.

 She opens the door only to see Giovanni already there talking to Camilla who is just looking into space.

 ''Milla''Serene calls softly and they both turn to look at her.

 ''Serene,where were you''Camilla asks to which Serene shruggs her shoulders which shows she doesn't want to talk about it.

 ''I thought you'd attend the wedding'' Giovanni says and Serene looks at him her brows creased in confusion.

 ''What wedding''She asks to which Giovanni chuckles,a humourless chuckle pitying his brother as the woman he loves doesn't even know he is getting married.

 ''Enzo's and Shelly''Giovanni says and a look of realisation crosses over Serene's features.

 There again she starts feeling them those emotions she always tries hard to push back and never let out again.

 The choking feeling like someone is holding your neck and you are unable to breath.

 Her heart clenching and the stupid wetness in her nose.

 ''Hmm I will not be attending''Serene tells Giovanni while mentally clapping that her voice cames out as strong as she wanted it to.

 Giovanni suddenly gets up from his seat and turns to look at her in her eyes.

 Clearing her throat Serene looks back at him but with some difficulty,this is the first time she is finding it difficult to mentain eye contact as she cannot explainif it is guilt or pain in her head. 

 ''It's not my place to say Serene''Giovanni starts and continues starring at her intently 

''But you are hurting Enzo,and deep down I know you are hurting too but you just don't want to accept it.three years ago when you left my brother he was broken and distrut, You came back he became somehow ok and now yoymu do this''He says and heaves out a sigh like he is tired.

 ''Enzo loves you Serene and maybe that's his biggest weakness but he does,I don't know what is holding you back but try to live for yourself once Serene,try to be happy and try to be that girl I knew before''Givanni says and at the end of his words walks towards Serene and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.

 ''I am happy Gio,besides he is better off without me''Serene says and pushes his hand away before walking out of the hospital room.

 Camilla opens her mouth to say something but just closes it figuring to let her sister be.
