Chapter 35:Critical condition

THIRD POV～

 They paced around anxiously in the living room each on their phone.

 Lorenzo feels fear and pain coursing through him at the thoughts of anything happening to his woman.he loves her so very much and doesn't know how to survive if anything happens to her.

 Camilla is still in the arms of the girls tears streaming down her eyes in sadness.

 Suddenly a phone starts ringing and everybody's head snap towards it,Camilla shakingly picks up her mobile and swipes to answer.

 ''Ye-s''She stutters dread filling her,Lorenzo's eyebrows creases at her expression and he walks towards her.

 After listening to what the person on the other end is saying and confirming she knows serene her phone suddenly slips out of her hand hitting the floor with a thud.

''N-No,No,No''Camilla starts mumbling with her hands holding her head while shaking her head in denial with continous tears running down her eyes.

 ''Camilla what happened''Lorenzo steps forward and ask while trying to keep his voice steady and clear.

 A huge clog is there present in his throat which almost prevents him from breathing properly.

 ''I-I its Serene''Camilla stutters unable to form any coherent word and she stands up suddenly only to almost fall back down but she is caught by Mariano who helps her sit down.

 ''What happened to my Cara''Lorenzo asks her his voice anxious and Camilla just lets out a sob.

 ''WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CARA''Lorenzo's voice booms and Camilla jolts back frightened.

 ''Serene was in an accident''Camilla whispers and everybody stands there shocked.

 At the news their faces immediately twists and they all start rushing outside.

 Lorenzo starts taking long strides towards his car only to be stopped by a hand on his shoulder.

 ''Let me drive''Mariano tells his elder brother who looks broken before entering the drivers side of the car.

 Soon the cars zoom towards the road and Lorenzo taps his feet anxiously in the car.

 ''she will be ok brother our serene is strong'' He reassures Lorenzo who nods.

 They het to the hospital and Lorenzo doesn't wait for the car to even stop before running out and towards the reception area.

 ''Serene De vitto''He tells the receptionist whose mouth opens in awe at his sight.

 ''S-Sir''She stutters a blush on her cheeks when Mariano steps forward while rolling his eyes.

 ''Give us the fucking details''He growls at her and she immediately starts typing on the laptop.

 The others also reach there in time and when they hear the room number they all rush towards the elevators.

 Reaching the emergency unit they look up to see the red bulb still on.

 Camilla plomps her body down on the chair there feeling weak and sad.

 The door suddenly wakes up and Vanessa and Vincenzo rush to him.

 ''Doctor,how is she''They ask the man and he sighs sadly before shaking his head in sadness.

 Fear grips their hearts and Camilla's eyes widen in fear and in shock.

 ''That's a fuucking lie''Lorenzo growls and steps forward to grab the doctor by his collar.

 They try to calm him down by trying to pull him back but he doesn't bulge and his hold on the man tightens.

 ''She better comes out ok else I'll burn this hospital-''He fumes his hold on the man's collar tightening.

 ''Nothing-Absolutely nothing can happen to her''He tells the man who because of fear nods his head while trying to shrink his body back.

 The doctor at that moment wishes nothing more than to disappear.

 ''Calm down Lorenzo''Mariano says placing his hands on Lorenzo's to remove it from the doctor's collar.

 The doctor sighs in relief internally,grateful to have been saved.

 Vincenzo hasalready gone to inform his parents and his younger brother javier and their reaction was terrible as he could already see his mother's sobbing face and his angry father.

 Everybody gather around the door praying to God for serene to come out fine.

 Lorenzo sits on the chair his head in his hand a tear slides down his cheeks but he wipes it off. 

The pain in his heart seemed to swell and increase and he felt this burning need to tear everything down.

 The woman he loves,his life was lying in the hospital without being able to open her beautiful blue orbs to look at him.

 He just wishes he can look into that eyes of hers again.
