Chapter 21:Preparations for the ball

Serene's pov～～～

 Sleeping peacefully on my bed exhausted and finally able to catch some sleep away from the usual disturbing nightmates I close my eyes and sigh in bliss.

 Something heavy suddenly lands on my body and I let out a groan at the impact.

 Opening my eyes slightly I am met with a grinning Vanessa.

 ''What the fuck Nessa''I grumble attempting on going back to sleep when she yanks the covers away from me.

 ''Wakey wakey Rene, we have a ball to attend''she says her voice chirpy and happy, why the fuck is she so happy.

 ''Is that ball not like next week''I mumble trying to collect my covers back but fail. I think I should start locking my room. 

 ''No,now get up''she yells draggig mybody from the bed and I open my eyes pushing her hand away from me huffing. 

 ''Moody bitch''She yells laughing and I just ignore her entering the bathroom for a warm bath.

 Done with my business from the bathroom I walk out wrapped in a robe a huge ass towel wrapped around my long black hair.

 ''when are the dresses arriving'' I ask her glaring at her still pissed at being woken up from my peaceful slumber.

 ''Later but the girls will be here for makeup and all''Vanessa says and that is when I realise we have not really book a team to come do our hair and makeup.

 After getting dressed in a large t shirt and shorts we walk downstairs and after a quick breakfast I sit back on the couch simply starring into space.Bored.

 Soon it is afternoon and the girls have arrived the excitement clear on their faces.

''Why the hell are you all so happy''I ask wondering If I was missing some kind of news of anything.

 ''This year I think it will be different''Camilla my sis says grinning widely and I roll my eyes at her words. 

 The annual Mafia Ball is always the same for me maybe just a different set of rich assholes tonight,A ball were mafia families and their children attend to mingle and be peaceful with one another.

 A weird and dumbass party if you ask me.

 We are chattering amogst ourselves trying to figure out which team to call for our hair,nails and makeup when the door bell suddenly rings.

 A maid walks towards the dor opening the door only to walk back towards us.

 ''Ma'am these people say they are sent by the young master of the De Angelo family for you'' The maid says amd gestures behind her.

 Turning I see five men and women, wearing these really fashionable but colourful outfits while each held big bags in their hands. 

 Looking closely I recognize the woman at the front as Georgina a famous stylist and makeup artist.

 Georgina has worked for me once and I left impressed by how well she can do her job.

 ''Gina''I call out before struting towards her to hug her and she returns it placing air kisses on both my cheeks.

 ''Serene''She says her lips spread into a perfect wide smile which makes me return it with a smile of my own.

 ''Well,Young master of the De Angelo family called and ordered us to be here to get his woman ready''Gina says her voice slightly teasing and I laugh at her words.

 The other girls greet Gina and we lead them towards the home salon where our dresses already laid.

 Gina and her crew do a very nice job as at the end we end up looking stunning.

 I am wearing a burgundy coloured dress which is absolutely beautiful.I take a mental note to thank enzo.

 Camilla's dress is a beautiful silvery designed dress,Vanessa is wearing a green dress while Angelina's dress is a beautiful blue dress.

 ''Thank you Gina''I tell her hugging her briefly before pulling away.she hugs the others and they start arranging their things to go.

 ''Wow''Camilla says and I nod agreeing with her turning to see the other ladies who seem pleased.

 ''I did not know that it feels this nice to have a sugar daddy''Vanessa says with a teasing tone and I laugh at her words walking towards my phone to call Enzo.

 Dailing the number,I wait for the call to connect and it does after the second ring.

 ''Baby''He says the moment the call connect and I smile at his words.

 ''Thank you Enzo''I tell him and he lets out a chuckle at my words,the moment I saw the tag on the dress Impress cannot explain how I feel.The dress,shoe and jewelry cost a fortune.

''Anything for you love,will you go to the party with me''He asks me his deep voice pleasing to my ear.

 ''I already have a partner''I tell him and I hear a sharp exhale from the other side.

 We talk for sometime and I tell the girls its time to go so we walk downstairs.

 ''Miss,Mr Ethan is waiting at the door for you'' A maid tells me and I nod my head turning towards the door to see a handsome Ethan standing there flowers in hand.

 Walking towards him I smile at him''Hello there handsome''I call out smiling teasingly and he smiles back his smile boyish.

 ''You look dazling serene''he says and I hear a short laugh behind me only to turn around and see the girls laughing.

 I walk outside with Ethan as he is my ride while the girls go with seperate rides,Nessa says she has a ride which makes me eye her suspiciously.

 I give her the look that says I want the full gist later before walking into the beautiful red lamborgini.

 Soon he starts driving towards the hall which the ball is being hosted and we talk along the way with me laughing at his jokes.
