Avians were confused as to why Adrian was driving away people who were in need of help. What if they got hypothermia later?

However, Adrian's answer was clear enough to answer Avians' confusion.

"They're just trying to steal from us. If they were really hikers, they wouldn't have come here. Do you remember the fork before we entered this area?"

"The one in the middle of the deserted forest? Yes, I remember," Avians replied as she recalled the terrifying forest that seemed like the setting of a horror movie.

"There was a sign pointing towards the mountains for hiking, one sign to the main road and another leading to this cabin," Adrian explained.

Now she understood why Adrian had kicked them out. They were just imposters who pretended to take a short break when they really wanted to steal. Luckily Adrian and Avians got back in time before the two impostors broke into their cabin or car.
