Noxian Attack

Sevinor sped through the seas and was soon joined by Hikli. The fleet had been spotted on the seas north of the island, over Hikli's domain. Gialis and Beromoth were in the south and the east and only defend the ports there aiding the Bilgewater fleet. The fleet appeared in the distance. The ships were grouped in immense numbers and clearly the Noxians had brought nearly their entire navy. They were in rows and covered a huge surface. They rushed towards the fleet. He commanded Hikli to dive under to emerge and disrupt the fleet and destroy many of the ships. Sevinor and him dived under the surface. Hikli's giant body shot out of the water, sending ships into the air and when it landed, giant waves rose and crashed against the ships. Sevinor shot out of the water and threw its serpent body at the ships, smashing the first ones hit to pieces. Hikli let out an ear splitting roar before thrashing its giant wings at the ships. The fleet had finally reacted to the attack and started to attack the beasts. Hikli dived under and so did Sevinor. They swam away from the ships. There are too many for just these two, Hikli called Gialis and Beromoth, maybe I should call the cannon barrage from our fleet. In the distance, he spotted a disruption in the water. Beromoth! Gialis! Gialis' swarm joined together forming a giant beast. They were ready for the fight. He fired up an orange signal flare. The signal for the fleet to send the barrage its direction. Hikli and Gialis rose from the water. Beromoth floated between them and Sevinor in front of them. They advanced towards the ships. Hikli dived under the water once again. Gialis walked towards the ships. Beromoth charged at the ships along with Sevinor. Hikli erupted from the water moments later and Gialis crashed into the ships in the frontline. Screams of the Noxians were muffled by the sound of wood snapping and the waves crashing. The clement sea had quickly turned to storm-like conditions with massive waves caused by Hikli's leaps and dives. The Noxians fired with the small amount of ships that had time to react. He jumped into the water, Sevinor swam around the wrecks killing the stranded men in the water, turning the water to a crimson red color. Gialis split up and the swarm quickly over ran the floating ships like a plague of locust in a field of wheat. Cannon fire was heard here and there but it was futile, the Leviathans fought as a single being crushing the Noxian resistance. Cannon fire rained onto the Noxians. Finally, they are here. He climbed back onto Sevinor and they shot out of the water. He jumped onto the leading ship of the Noxian fleet. The Noxian general was barking out orders to the ship crew. He walked up behind him and whispered in his ear, "Sleep well," A shot rang out and the general's dead body crashed onto the deck. He turned and gunned down the remaining men. He looked behind him and saw the Noxian fleet turning and running. He dived back into the water and called for Sevinor, but he didn't come, he called again and once again he didn't come. He surfaced and heard Sevinor roar. The three other leviathans were circled around Sevinor. He swam towards them. He climbed onto Beromoth's back. There he was, a harpoon had hit his stomach. Blood poured out of Sevinor's stomach. Beromoth moved under him and lifted him to his level. He put his hand on Sevinor. Tears came to his eyes. Why? Why does this have to happen? He fell to his knees in front of Sevinor. Sevinor moved its head and let out a small, dying call. He got up and placed his hand on Sevinor's head, "I'm sorry," Sevinor's head went limp, he fell to his knees once again. Sevinor, his best friend had died and he couldn't do anything about it. Gialis and Hikli went back under water and left to their domains. Beromoth carried Sevinor back to Sevinor's domain. He dived under the surface with Beromoth, who carried Sevinor's dead body to the seafloor. Beromoth laid Sevinor's dead body on the floor, and it stayed there. Beromoth swam away, leaving him alone with Sevinor's dead carcass. He stayed next to Sevinor. He started to run out of breathe, he looked back at Sevinor one last time, but something caught his eye. I need to get to the surface. He pushed off the floor and soon arrive at the surface. He floated there and grasped for air, he dived back into the water. He swam back down to where Sevinor laid. He looked around to see what had caught his attention. He looked around, nothing. Probably just my imagination. He swam back up and started to swim towards Bilgewater.

He climbed up onto the port. He took off his coat and walked up the main street of the city, "Capt'n! Where is Sevinor? You swam back?"

"He is in the creator's domain," He said coldly, "Are we ready to start the warring policy?"

"Yes, Capt'n," His advisor replied, "We have the men and material to start."

"Very well," He said as he continued to walk, "Tell the captains that they can start, send three ships with one, not anchored, at a distance of three kilometers from the Noxian shores and have two others anchored further behind around 2 kilometers from the first."

"Very well," The advisor said as he wrote the things he said in his notebook, "Anything else Capt'n?"

"Remind them that the rotation of the men in every 8 hours," He said, "And remember to organize the supplying of the ships in food and ammunition."

"Very well, Capt'n, I will do that, rest well."

"Thank you," He continued to walk up the street as his advisor left. He walked past through the bustling city, the people were occupied with their normal tasks and to add to all of this, shipments from the inland had arrived, food and ammunition. He received some ways from the shop owners and the people of the city, some bowed in respect to him. He arrived at the foot of the lonely path that lead to the place he called his home. He walked up the silent path, he thought of the battle, a tear came to his eyes. He instantly wiped it, he was the Strongman of the Seas, the Leader of Bilgewater, the Protector of Bilgewater, he couldn't look weak in public to the people. He took another drink. I hope the Creator gives you a nice bit of sea, up there, in his domain. He put his bottle away and lit a cigarette. He stood there, waiting, as if he was waiting for something to happen, something that would make him forget the problems he had faced. He sighed and walked up the last bit of the path. He pushed open the door. Cassidy was sitting on the bed with a cigarette in her hand. He entered and said nothing, he simply hung up his coat and sat by the table and put his head in his hands. She looked at him confused. She walked towards him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" She asked, "What happened during the battle?"

"I let Sevinor die," He mumbled, "He's dead, I could have done something, but I am too much of a retard to have done something."

"Don't say that," She said, "He wasn't immortal, the Creator wanted it that way, maybe he planned it to open your eyes to the world."

"Maybe," He said as he leaned back, "But why now? When I most need him? He was my friend, and the only thing I trusted," She looked at him in shock.

"Can you not trust me?"

"Yes, but, you know what I mean."

"I know," She said as she sat down next to him, "I know what you mean," She kissed his cheek. He took a drink. He got up and looked outside.

"I think that Sevinor's loss shouldn't blind me from the fortune of these lands," He wiped his left eye, "He died to protect the people, I will continue his legacy of protection. I think that I will have to clear my thoughts, maybe a speech to raise everyone's moral."

"How long will you be gone?"

"Long enough to make you carve for me," He smiled, "After sun down, so not very long."

"Then I'll be waiting for you."
