Party At A Nearby Club

It's been a stressful week for Elizabeth and her roommates because the classes are getting more intense and complex as time goes by.

But it's Saturday again which means she can rest and get ready for next week. Not that Sunday and Saturday will be enough for her, but she has to manage it.

"Let's hangout tonight" Tracy suggested.

"Yeah we should, I heard there's a party later tonight at a club nearby. A lot of students will be attending" Diane answered.

"I thought we could do something just the four of us but that can also work" Tracy said.

"Cool, Elizabeth?" Diane asked.

"Yeah, I may turn up" Elizabeth answered.

"Jane?" Diane asked Jane who was sitting on her bed with her headphones on, listening to her playlist.

"I'll talk to her later" Diane said.

When it was time for the party, the room became untidy again because the girls were getting dressed for the party.

"You're gonna clear your things right?" Tracy asked Diane as she noticed how she flung her things around trying to find something in her suitcase.

"Whatever" Diane answered.

"Oh God!" Tracy exhaled.

Tracy finished dressing up before the girls. She put on a red dress.

Diane began dressing before anyone but it took her forever to put on her corset blouse and baggy jeans.

Elizabeth however found a black body-hug gown and she took it out and put it on. She applied a bit of make up and put some heels on.

She looked at the mirror as she blended the lipstick on her lip. Her eyes caught the single dimple on the right side of her cheek and she admired it. She smiled even more to make the dimple visible.

Why doesn't she have one on her left side too? It would be cuter that way.

"We need rest because we have a more stressful week ahead. So please can we all agree to not bring boys over?" Tracy pleaded with her eyes directly on Diane.

"Boys provide the rest we need" Diane said as she rushed out of the room.

She feels she's late for the party.

"Diane!" Tracy exclaimed.

She quickly ran after Diane, hoping she can convince her.

"You coming?" Elizabeth asked Jane who was still sitting on her bed.

"Yeah" Jane said with a little bit of energy.

She took off the blue T-shirt she had on and shoved on an off-shoulder blouse to go with the black skinny jeans she already had on.

"Let's go" Jane said to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth is surprised Jane is putting on an off-shoulder blouse. She actually thought she would put on a hoodie or a freakishly long maternity gown.

Elizabeth quickly got her little purse and her phone and then they both walked out.

"Here, tie your hair" Elizabeth said.

She hands a hair band to Jane and Jane takes it.

"Let's catch up with Tracy and Diane, they might take a cab without us" Elizabeth said.

She immediately caught Jane's hand and pulled her as they ran after Tracy and Diane.

Diane was right, a lot students are going to this party. Elizabeth sees many other student, dressed up and also heading to the party.

She ignores it and tries to catch up with Diane and Tracy.

"You need air!" Derek said to Nicholas.

Nicholas is working on his laptop while his African-American closest buddy, Derek is trying to convince him to go to the party. He and Derek met while in high-school and they've been close friends ever since.

"Last time you all left me when you saw girls. I was left stranded because I wasn't with my car" Nicholas stated, his eyes still on his laptop.

"You didn't have your car because you were pretending. Most of the students at this school will be there. So they'll definitely tell people who don't know you who you are. There will be no need to pretend" Derek said.

"Exactly why I shouldn't go, I still have work to do on the new project" Nicholas countered.

"Trust me, all you need is breathing space. Once you step out there, you'll find lots of ideas. You just need to look at the outside world and think" Derek said.

Nicholas slightly furrowed his brows as he thought of what Derek said. Derek may be right.

Last time, he got an idea when he least expected it. He never even thought of an idea like that, all he was focused on was the complex and complicated stuff.

And then a retarded girl came into the chancellor's office and she inadvertently gave him an idea.

Maybe stepping out won't be so bad.

He inhales

"Let's do it!" Nicholas exhaled.

"Perfect!" Derek said feeling successful.

"Quickly freshen up and put some cloths on, I'll be right here waiting" Derek said with his eyes on his phone.

"I'm already dressed" Nicholas calmly responded.

"You really wanna go like that?" Derek asked.

He examined Nicholas's sleeveless blue shirt and black track pants.

"Put something over your shirt" Derek suggested.

Nicholas still sat there, not saying a word but staring at his laptop.

Derek quickly went to get a jacket for Nicholas to put on. Derek finds the white jacket to the black track pants Nicholas is putting on. He takes it to him in the sitting room.

Nicholas' hostel looks more like a luxurious apartment. There's a living room, a kitchen, bed rooms and other things an apartment has.

"Put this jacket on, and let's get going" Derek said.

He threw the jacket to Nicholas and it landed on him.

"Careful with that, it's one of my favorites" He cautioned in a calm tone.

Nicholas puts the jacket on and he leaves the zipper undone. He keeps his laptop aside and they finally leave for the party.

Elizabeth and her roommates arrive at the club. Before the girls could even set a foot inside the club Diane was pulled out by a random boy.

"I just hope they do their stuff somewhere else that isn't our room" Tracy exhaled.

The loud sound of music could be heard from miles away. The party had barely begun and there are already drunk people lying around and staggering.

Elizabeth turned to her right hand side and finds out that Jane isn't there.

"Where's Jane?" Elizabeth asked.

"She probably disappeared into thin air" Tracy teased.

Elizabeth looks a little shook because Jane could have actually disappeared considering the way she behaves.

"Oh my God, this music is incredibly loud" Tracy yelled out.

Her voice barely audible, Elizabeth didn't hear what she said but she pretended to.

"I'm gonna go meet new people… See you later" Tracy said and immediately left Elizabeth standing alone.

Elizabeth wondered if that's Tracy's way of saying she wants to hook up.

Anyways, she's left all alone now. She should make the most out of this party. She should party till she has no energy left to party.

"OMG, Elizabeth let's dance" Diane's loud voice echoed.

What is she doing here? Wasn't she with someone outside?

"That guy is hopeless, he has a girlfriend and he wants to hit things off with me" Diane said.

Diane grabs Elizabeth's hand and pulls her to the dance floor underneath the disco ball. The disco ball split different colored lights round the room filled with people.

"Come on, let's dance for a while" Diane yelled.

Elizabeth and Diane danced together and partied hard. 'Dancing for a while' turned dancing for literally forever. Diane goes over to the bar and gets two drinks for both of them. Diane hands one red disposable cup to Elizabeth. Elizabeth is deep into the party mood so she quickly sips the content in the cup to ease her dried up throat. Her throat is dry from all the dancing and jumping around.

Elizabeth is dripping with sweat, she wants to stop dancing and calm down but she can't. She's already in the mood and now she can't stop. Diane gets them more alcohol and Elizabeth drank them all in one go.

Diane and Elizabeth would sporadically stop dancing with each other and dance with any guy close to them.

Elizabeth takes off her heels because they stand as barriers to her partying.

Elizabeth's head suddenly starts feeling heavy. There was one disco ball but she saw three.

Her energy reduced and she slowly danced, she can't leave the dance floor yet. She has to dance!

While she danced, someone suddenly comes up behind her and holds her by her waist. She doesn't know who he is, she immediately turns around and sees someone. He's tall and has a hat on, she's never seen him before, he probably came to dance and he decided to dance with her.

"Hey" the guy said.

"Let's dance" he added.

He moves closer to her and holds her by her waist again, slowly pulling her towards him.

"No, I don't want to dance" Elizabeth mumbled.

She was drunk and whatever she said sounded like an irony.

"No!" she struggled, trying to break free from the random guy's strong grasp.

He strongly held unto her, he's of the impression that she wants to dance but she's too drunk to know what she wants.

"What the heck!" she yelled out energetically.

However her voice wasn't louder than the music.

She pulls herself out of his clutch and immediately reaches for her heels. She turns the sole of the shoe and hits this random guy's neck with the heel.

"Ugh, fuck!" the guy barked in pain.

He placed his hand on the side of his neck, hoping it would ease the pain.

Seeing how much pain she caused him in her drunken state she lost the vibe to dance.

"Diane, I'm gonna take a break" Elizabeth said to Diane.

Diane was dancing with a guy and was also drunk. She didn't hear what Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth quickly runs away from the guy she just hit, he may want to hit her back or maybe avenge what she did.

However, she doesn't let that stop her from having a good time.

She holds her heels in her left hand and walks bare footed to the bar counter.

She sits on a chair and keeps her heels on the next chair.

"I'll have two shots of tequila" Elizabeth requested.

The bar tender immediately filled two cups.

"Is this sit taken?" a brown-haired guy asked.

He points at the sit Elizabeth kept her heels on.

"No!" Elizabeth loudly said.

She quickly took off her shoes from the sit and gave the guy room to sit.

He gently sits with his eyes on a girl in the other end of the room. Elizabeth noticed how long he'd been staring at her she and immediately speaks up.

"You should talk to her" Elizabeth suggested.

"Eh, I can't" He answered.

"Why not? She may like you too" Elizabeth suggested.

"I can't because she…" the guy tried saying but Elizabeth interrupted him.

"No ifs or buts… neither should there be a 'because'" Elizabeth insisted.

"Tell her how you feel" she immediately added.

"I can't cos she's my sister!" the guy finally said.

Elizabeth was about to interrupt him but when she heard the word sister she shut her mouth.
