Veronica didn't want anyone to know what's going to happen to her in the future, so she and David kept is as secret for now

The boy had a lot of learning to do, and Veronica was glad to teach him how to control his powers, and be the best hero the world ever seen

"Are you a hero in the future?" Edith asked as they walked to get some food "yeah, they call me velocity" he said smiling

"But it's not as cool as impulse" he said and looked at Veronica who just smiled, the boy was tall so she looked up at him

"Yeah it's pretty awesome" Edith said and David nodded, then walked into a fast food restaurant, they ordered their food and sat down

"I thought we could start training today mom" he said and looked at his mother "look I'm not as good as you think, I only got my powers a few months ago" Veronica explained

"Yes I know, but you must know one thing or two" her son said and she smiled "yes, I can teach you how to phase" the goth girl said
