INJURIES TO THE HEART

In the school garden, Seina was by herself and enjoying some peace when Elina came walking by.

Seina yelled out Elina's name, "Na."

Elina glanced at him before avoiding Seina. Elina's look, which seemed to be directed at her with annoyance, startled Seina.

Seina asked herself in a low voice, "What did I do wrong?"

"Na, what are you doing? I've been calling your name but you just haven't answered, are you furious at me?" Seina exclaimed while chasing after Elina and patting her on the back from behind.

Elina remarked bluntly, "Sey, I'm always annoyed with you." Elina wasn't embarrassed by Seina's intended remarks.

"Why? What went wrong between us, exactly?" Seina is still baffled by Elina's constant attitude shifts.
