Then he darted a glance towards the door to find his wife laughing so happily and talking to her siblings.
He was watching his wife from a distance which slowly softened his profile.
"I'm sorry, Jake. It wasn't my intention to ruin your day," Alexandro's apologetic eyes met his friend's hardened profile.
"No. Actually, I'm glad that you told me. Although it's a somewhat nonsense tidbit, it's hard to ignore. Your vampire king is a dreamer," Jacob said sarcastically.
"I think so, but hey, he's not my king nor Alex's," Michelle retorted. "But it will be a big mess if the rumor is true by chance," Michelle commented.
