THE INTRODUCTION: PART 1

"Remember that it's just a rumor okay. No one knows if i6ts true or not" Raymond said.

"Once upon a time,there lived a well-known couple. The same family who rules the whole of Transylvania.

The couple gave birth to their first child and heir after 15 years of marriage. They named their son Xander. 5 years after the birth of Xander, another son was born in the King's family" he paused for a minute then continued.

"He is the one whom we all fear and cannot memtion his name. The young prince grew up to be a very strong, powerful, and ambitious young man and this made his father, the King, to love him a lot. Prince Xander on the other hand also grew up well but he wasn't as strong as his younger brother. Due to this, the King loved the young prince more than prince Xander. This made prince Xander very unhappy and angry that he began to despise his younger brother. As they grew up together, the young prince always loved his elder brother more than anyone else in the world. He fought with his parents and friends just to support his elder brother but prince Xander took his love for scorn and despised him the more. It happened one afternoon that prince Xander told his brother how much he despised him and wishes to kill him, the young prince however, apologised but this act got prince Xander really angry and furious that he got into a huge fight with the young prince and that fight led to the sudden illness of the King. The young prince abhorred hatred in his heart against his brother ever since. The illness got so severe and the doctors said there was no hope for the King anymore. Few weeks after the doctor's verdict,the King passed away. The young prince's heart turned cold immediately. He began to kill people without feeling remorseful. He was however crowned King and the new Alpha of Transylvania a few months later as that was his father's last wish. Prince Xander left the village the same day his brother got coronated but not without getting into a heated battle completely with the young prince. The young prince turned into a beast completely. No one knows how or what he looks like. Is he an human like us or a beast who goes about hunting for fresh blood and flesh?" Raymond ended the story.

Diane didn't look scared at all to his surprise but he waved the feeling off.

"Does he not have a mate?" Diane asked.

"Rumor has it that he hasn't found her yet. He sent a message to the village Chief earlier this month telling us to prepare all the young girls and ladies in the village for his arrival next week" Raymond said.

"Don't you think that's enough story time already?" Danielle asked.

"Shall we continue tomorrow?" Diane asked her elder brother, Raymond.

"Sure. Goodnight" Raymond said then kissed her forehead and headed to his room.

"I'm coming to get you my little kitten" A suspicious looking man covered in black cloaks outside the window of Diane and Danielle's room said.

"All of you, meet me at the palace in the next 10 minutes" Alpha Damian mindlinked his Ryan, his Beta and then disappeared.

IN MR. AND MRS. OCTAVIER'S ROOM

"The Alpha will be back in a few days" Mr Octavier said.

"Does this mean our precious little baby will be leaving us?" Mrs. Octavier cried.

"Calm down my dear, we'll find a solution to this. How about we leave Transylvania?" Mr. Octavier suggested.

"What if the Alpha finds out that we are trying to keep him away from his mate? Late Mrs. Bee already helped us hide the birthmarks on her and also blocked the mate bond" Mrs Octavier said.

"I think it's time we accept fate and pray to the moon goddess that he treats our daughter well" Mr. Octavier said.

"Are you listening to yourself at all? What do you mean it's time we accept fate? To hell with fate. I'm not ready to lose my baby to a beast. What if he kills her or feeds on her?" Mrs. Octavier exclaimed.

"Are you also listening to yourself? You know very well how we Vampires love and cherish our mates. So how could you think he would do that to her?" Mr. Octavier asked.

"But you know he isn't just a Vampire. He's a demon and an hybrid for heaven's sake" Mrs. Octavier cried.

"You of all people know it's just a rumor. You know what, let's just end this discussion here. It's getting late already. Goodnight"Mr. Octavier said and gave his wife a good night kiss.
