Yggdrasil: Worsap (Overlord FF)

Finch was just another slave, the 12th generation of worker drones, under the mega-corporations. He was fed up with his life and planned to commit suicide, leaving his grey and lifeless world behind. Too bad life has a surprise for him. I do not own Overlord. I also don't own the cover image.

Guild Creation

Donte stretched his arms while sitting up on his white sterilized bed. He was incredibly exhausted after following his sensei to take their future guild territory, but he was so excited to see the next plans in the future! He lifted his paralyzed legs off his bed and shifted himself into his wheelchair.

*Bzzt*

A buzz rang and the sound of an electronic lock made an unlocking sound. The door opened and a cold woman doctor appeared from outside. She closed the door behind her.

"Donte, here is the recent medication the doctors have handed out to everyone." She spoke with an even voice.

Donte was a full-time clinical trial patient. He was very lucky that he could land a job like this, due to his disability. He may suffer side effects sometimes, but he was very happy to receive a roof over his head and a place to play Yggdrasil in peace.

"Thank you, Mrs!" Donte nodded seriously to her and bowed slightly as she set a medication on his bedside table. It was set next to a full notepad of notes from his time in Yggdrasil, the time he spent following his sensei, and even some of his own devised strategies.

Above the nightstand, was a big printed poster of Dark Reunion members. In the picture, Treech looked distracted with something in the game menus, Wings seemed to be talking to himself, and Donte was standing up straight in the middle of the group as if he was being called to attention by a military sergeant. He glanced at the poster and his mouth smiled slightly. He downed the medication that he needed to take for the day and hurriedly moved into the VRMMO chair with the Yggdrasil headset in the corner of the room.

He placed the helmet on his head and entered Yggdrasil. An excited grin on his face.

...

Treech had spent a few hours organizing the loot inside their new clan territory while waiting for Prince and Wings to log back in. He had to admit that they received really good loot from this boss. They received an ultra-rare data crystal: [Absorption]. It could allow a weapon they equip to absorb living matter to heal themselves by a significant amount. Treech hoped to add this to their guild weapon later. He also had a bit of an obsession with the WCI [Narn-Yurn]. He wanted to have Wings send out a message that they were willing to buy this WCI or trade it off with people if they get it. He had some experiments to try with it, which were too important to not consider doing.

Just as he was about to continue his line of thoughts, Prince and Wings had walked into the side room he was in. They seemed to have logged in a few minutes ago and Prince was bickering with Wings to stop calling him a grand disciple.

"Get your priorities straight, as if you could even be worthy to be Master's master. Sensei puts up with your shenanigans but I can only handle so much." Prince raised an eyebrow at Wings.

"Kuku, this grandmaster will forgive you for not recognizing the difference between heaven and earth." Wings waved his hand nonchalantly.

He had his black helmet unequipped for once and his character's facial features were revealed. He had a head full of greyish white hair and a headband... no it was a blindfold that was on his forehead... it didn't even cover his eyes. Probably because he wouldn't be able to see if he actually wore it over his eyes. His facial features bore resemblance to Spanish traits and his eyes were a deep green.

"Kid, Dra-I mean Wings, I have an important matter we should discuss." Treech motioned for them to come close to him and he shared the Guild creation scroll item to their HUDs.

"Of course, it is as I expected. The time has come." Wings nodded to himself over and over again.

"We are going to create our guild now, sensei?" Prince asked.

"Yep" Treech then disbanded the Dark Reunion clan they had started and activated the guild creation scroll. A large menu filled with description boxes lit up his HUD for the guild name, description, backstory... etc. He only needed to fill in the guild name and designate the guild weapon before he could create it and send invites, he could edit the other contents later.

"As we agreed Wings, you can have some input on the name of the guild," Treech mentioned lightly.

Wing's eyes lit up and then he started stroking his chin like some ancient master.

"Dark Dragon Genocide Lightning Cult" Wings nodded to himself. He was quite please with his naming sense.

"Sensei! That's too much!" Prince looked like he was physically about to die from cringing picturing themselves going around with that guild name.

Treech didn't really care about the guild name, but it seemed he would be the tie-breaker here. Wings had really funded their guild a lot of his personal money already and he hoped to ask him to put out a notice on the forums to find Narn-Yurn after this. But when he tried to enter the entire guild name into the input box, it was too long of a name.

"Sorry, seems was too long." Treech shook his head.

"Hmm.." Wings thought to himself.

Prince wanted to try and think of a name now so that they didn't end up with something ridiculous. He tried as hard as he could to think of what kind of name Wings would like.

'Probably anything with genocide or dragon in it.' He thought.

"How about 'Dark Dragon Union'? It keeps a bit of our original name." Prince suggested sincerely.

"Dark Dragon Union... Dark Dragon Union!!! Kukuku, fantastic absolutely great. The dragon in my right arm resonates with the name." Wings agreed that it was okay with him.

"Alright then, from now on we will be [Dark Dragon Union]." Treech entered the name of the guild in the chat box.

"Now we only need the guild weapon." Treech looked at Wings. And he pulled out the guild weapon he had prepared for this occasion. Back when Wings first joined Dark Reunion, Treech promised him that he could provide the bases for the guild weapon, but when he finally received the weapon he was a little confused because Wings handed him an ordinary-looking olive branch. Of course, it wasn't an actual tree branch, but a divine class weapon that Treech recognized because he strengthened this tree branch sword with his own ability: World Mutation.

"You want to use this?" Treech confirmed once again.

"Kuku, it's just some trash I found while roaming the void. We can use it." Wings replied as he waved his hand magnanimously.

Prince couldn't stand to see this act that Wings put on and act like he found this thing in the 'void' while Treech was the one who strengthened and gave him this weapon in the first place. Why was he pretending to be generous? In all honesty, Prince thought Wings had a few screws loose in his head. Where was the line between reality and fantasy with him?

"Well, alright then." Treech selected the olive branch sword and the guild creation was completed. He then sent two invites to Wings and Prince to join and set the dungeon, The Reverse Tree: Hyperion, as their official guild territory.

Treech then pulled Wings to the side and asked him if he could issue a notice to the forums that [Dark Dragon Union] was looking to buy Narn-Yurn or to swap WCI. Wings was naturally enthusiastic about such a task and his post went something like this:

'Hello mortals things, I on behalf of Dark Dragon Union am willing to buy the WCI Narn-Yurn for 100,000$. Rejoice...'

His post was quite popular and many people were naturally enthusiastic about such a monetary reward for in-game items. Some players formed teams to scout and look for it actively.

Treech and the rest of Dark Dragon Union spent the next 3 weeks moving about and preparing their guild base with defenses. Treech and Wings also significantly upgraded their guild weapon to a ridiculous DL amount with Treech's ability World Mutation. He even converted the sword he used in the World Champion tournament into a data crystal to extract the ultra-rare crystal to let him use the guild weapon to fight. Actually, he had to do this because Wings realized he couldn't use the guild weapon unless he was the guild master and became a bit depressed. So either Treech used this stupid stick as a weapon or it would just collect dust.

Wings spent quite a lot of money buying Ultra-rare data crystals from the auction house, including 3 supreme skill data crystals which were even rarer than winning the lottery. Treech made sure to teach Prince to never underestimate the power of money. The 3 weeks passed quickly until finally, a piece of news rocked Yggrasil once again. It was a small clan known as Nines Own Goal.

Guild Weapon of Dark Dragon Union Guild

Created by Jet-Black Wings, it was designed to be a magic scimitar and it held the shape of an olive branch with wood from a tree Treech enhanced himself as much as possible.

Description:

Jet-Black Wings created Olive Branch when he used a branch of the world tree as a toothpick when he was drunk. He accidentally released 3% of his power and the branch absorbed his aura, evolving to a higher form of being than a mere branch of the world tree. He then saw that the branch was good for fighting, so he fought the demon lords of Gehenna, the high angels of 3rd heaven, and the dragon lords in their lairs.

He did all this while drunk and only used 3% of his power to defeat them with a mere olive branch. The olive branch then drank the blood of the dragons, the angels, and demon lords. It remembered them and grew a soul. It pledged eternal servitude to Jet-Black Wings as its creator. Jet-Black Wings saw that this was a good thing, so he kept the Olive Branch. He used it as his weapon to limit himself while in this mere mortal realm.

After a long while of traveling and finding things boring, he reincarnated himself into a mortal world. This filthy mortal world was disgusting and filthy so he created Yggdrasil as a place to play in his mortal body. After a short while, he missed his companion, Olive Branch. Who accompanied nobody but him after so long. So he summoned Olive Branch to Yggdrasil as the centerpiece of his guild. Thus, Yggdrasil was his new home and this was where Olive Branch met his master's two disciples: Dark Magician Jr. Treech, and The Eternal Nightmare Prince.

He then told Olive Branch that this place was his home now and that he has made new friends to share his time. He was happy in his mortal body and kept his other life a secret from his friends. Thus, Olive Branch remained and grew to love this new home: The Reverse Tree, Hyperion. Jet-Black Wings often took pity on his disciples, who were not as smart as him in the ways of power, and would demonstrate his great might before them many times to have them gain enlightenment in their path to strength. But they did not even realize that the strength Jet-Black Wings demonstrated was merely 1% of his true power and they would never come close to the true power he has.

After many years of waiting, Olive Branch was taken out to fight against the great forbidden one with Jet-Black Wings. Only the Great Forbidden Ones could fight evenly with Jet-Black Wings, as he was the great Dracognus of the Forbidden Ones. After many fights, Oliver Branch finally tasted the blood of the Forbidden One. Jet-Black Wings had sacrificed an arm to cast the Ultra Destruction Spell: Mega BlackFlame Dragon Cannon Genocide Bomb. But it worked and it cut off the great forbidden one arm as well.

Olive Branch absorbed the Forbidden One's Blood and became his bane. Forever will the Forbidden Ones fear Olive Branch now that it has the ability to always wound and weaken him thanks to Jet-Black Wings. Of course, the Jet-Black Wings planned this as he could think 10000 steps ahead of everyone and his patience had run out. He couldn't hold himself back any longer and revealed that he had only been fighting the Forbidden Ones with 30% of his true power. He then sealed the Forbidden Ones into his left arm, which he keeps sealed with his Suppression Bandage of Ultimate Sealing: Magnakarma.
